rpmforge.repo
How come rpmforge.repo wants to install a whole slew of perl modules, yet if I leave rpmforge.repo out of the update process, none of the perl modules shows up? Migrate windows VM from i386 Host to x86_64 host
Somehow one of our Xen servers ended up loaded with the i686 xen kernel, instead of the x86_64. The host has one windows VM running on it. The OS partition is file-based, but it also has a logical volume partition assigned for data. We would like to migrate the host server to a 64-bit kernel, which means moving the VM to one of our other 64-bit host servers. We tried simply copying the OS

Fedora 12 domU will not boot kernel
Hello Everyone, I have been trying to get a Fedora 12 domU to boot for the better part of the afternoon and haven't had success booting any F12 kernel in Xen. I can get Fedora 11 installed no problem, tried to do a preupgrade but the when booting the preupgrade kernel through grub (or even from outside the domU) the domU reboots very quickly and ultimately crashes. DNS zone delegation
Hi, i have configured a Master DNS server, i have also created records to delegate a zone to child dns server But when named service is started it says Jul 31 14:33:30 localhost named[21581]: dns.zone:9: ignoring out-of-zone data (child.dns.com) I am using bind-9.3.4-10.P1.el5_3.3. on CEntos 5.2 Please help. upgrade bind to version 9.3.4-P1 in centos 5.0 box
hi, i want to setup DNS server on centos 5.0, and find the preinstalled version is bind.x86_64 30:9.3.3-7.el5 , and bind.x86_64 30:9.3.3-9.0.1.el5 in the updates repository. but i need to upgrade bind to version 9.3.4-P1 to prevent from any known security bugs is there any way i can do ? thanks, Bell
