Hi, I use CentOS as a firewall/proxy/webserver/fileserver in my small network. As the small-spec machine with CentOS is heavily loaded/used I can't afford downtime. 20 GB, pentium II with only 128 MB RAM. However I want to know the news on 4.5 is it due soon? Can I gain more by running CentOS 3.x range on such an old machine like mine? Will CentOS 5.0 mean you need a minimum of 512 RAM?

Hello everybody. I'm wondering here if is it possible to setup a CentOS machine as a router for two Internet connections in a LAN. This _router_ would work as the gateway for the workstations using DHCPD. The purpose of this is to optimize the broadband "joining" both connections, and given the case, do not lose the Internet access. ?is this possible? ?too much complicated?

The primary reason for this is that I want to run IPCop on such a kernel, but also that I consider kernel 2.4 based systems to be more suitable for some applications, especially for use as a firewall.
