axis space
Hello
I have a problem.
I have a plot, and have made the writing larger with cex.axis and cex.lab, and i is working great, BUT the writing is bigger than the window... for example, the y-axis writing misses the top of all letters.
Does anyone know how to change the window or something so you actually can see what the y-axis says.
the plot is attached if there is doubt of what i mean...

Xen via libvirt
Hello.
I want to use libvirt for toolstack of Xen (not XenServer) to set up
Openstack system but,
I'm new to libvirt so, I had some troubles on installing libvirt.
I downloaded the source code, build and installed it, following here (
https://libvirt.org/compiling.html).
However, when I type a command (# virsh 'xen:///system' list) to check if
libvirt has been installed successfully,

Error in as.environment(pos): using 'as.environment(NULL)' is defunct
Hello,
I?m using R 2.11.1 with Tinn-R 1.17.2.4.
I hope the given informations are enough (it?s my first entry here)
The as.environment(pos) error appears in using the following code which
should open a function in an other R-file.
Here some extractions of the code:

looping over a string
Hi list,
I'm using R 2.8.1 under Windows vista. I have the following problem:
First of all I create a string-vector. Then I "convert" these strings
into variables and assign a vector of numeric values. So far
everything's fine.
Now I want to do nearly the same again: I create another string-vector
and I want to assign the variance. So I have to loop over the first

PROBLEM: Filesystem became readonly, then kernel crashes on shutdown
Hi All,
I just had "an issue" with my Linux 2.6.1 kernel. While working, I
tried to rf -rf a directory, and was told my filesystem was mounted
readonly (which it wasn't). I then shut the machine down, and on
shutdown, I got a "kernel BUG at fs/ext3/super.c: 411". Full report below:

R plug in for Eclipse
Hello,
Is there any R plug-in available for Eclipse other than StatET?
StatET doesn't seem to work with the latest release of Eclipse properly,
i.e. syntax highlighting isn't enabled for R commands. I already contacted
the author some time ago, but have not yet received a response.
Would also be great if somebody could tell me whether they have the same
problem. I already tried

Grouping columns
*Hi @ all,
I have a question concerning the possibilty of grouping the columns of a

R groups the columns alphabetically.
What can I do to group the columns in my specifications?
The script is the following:*

CUnit
Hi!
Which testing-framefork do WINE use?
I have seen, that CUnit for example outputs the result in a nice
html-format:
http://cunit.sourceforge.net/ss_automated.html
Looks similar to the output of GNU Classpath (which trys to rewrite Java):
http://builder.classpath.org/japi/jdk15-generics.html
But GNU Classpath uses JUnit. And WINE is written in C, so in this case
CUnit would be better.

Fw: Summary for Distance matrix by cosine?
Dear all,
below you find enclosed my message from January 9th and my program
(attention: beginner).
Thanks for both answers! a. However, as far as I know the cosine is not the
same as the Pearson correlation (only in special cases).
b. Reid Huntsinger's hint was very useful, however I had to transpose the
matrix first, for I want to calculate the distance of the _rows_.
