Understanding padding in lattice
Dear R-users, I am trying to understand what the different padding arguments in trellis.par.set are exactly controlling the space around lattice plots. I have used the following code as a basis for testing but it did not really help me to visualize how the value of each argument changes the margins and the plotting area. xyplot remove ticks from top and right
Dear R-help, I am drawing a graph using xyplot. The axis labels only appear on the left and bottom axes - I used the option xyplot(scale = list(alternating = 1)) However while the labels no longer appear on the top and right border of the graph the ticks do! minor axis ticks in trellis graphics?
Dear R users, I need to add minor axis ticks to my graph. In traditional R this is easily achievable by simply adding a second axis with the minor ticks. But how to do that in trellis? ggplot - Setting the y-scale in a bar plot
Dear All (probably Hadley), I am now trying to customise some plots using a bar geom. I do not want to use the default binning statistic, but rather calculate the bar heigths separately. I do manage this, but for comparison purposes I would like to have a set of plots all with the same y-axis height. But I do not seem to find out how to fix the scale of the y-axis in this case. lattice contourplot background covers inward-facing ticks
