Heatmap/Color Selection(Key)
Hi I made heatmap of QTL based on Lod score. Where I have traits in columns and marker data (rows). I can not cluster both column and rows as I need the right order for marker data. Can someone suggest me better way of generating heatmaps especially the colour key I want to select to visualize the results which are more interesting to look at. > library(gplots) >

Dear R-community It would be nice to get some input how to find a solution for the following error in igraph and vertex setting. Thank you very much Sibylle > par(bg="black") > network %>% plot( + vertex.color=clrs[V(.)$community], + vertex.size=V(.)$hub_score*1, + vertex.frame.color=V(.)$color, + vertex.label.color="white", +

Hi, first of all, your example was not reproducible! But once I added "library(igraph)" and "library(scico)" plus generally replaced "aes_collapsed" by "edge_list", I started to work :-) Anyway, the error is produced by this line: + edge.width= network, It seems to me that you have forgotten to name a variable here (you now use the whole network

The reason html is specifically advised against as a format is that it does things like mangling data such as is happening in your example. You should repost using settings on you mail client for plain-text. Your code should start by loading necessary packages. You should also not post screen output versions of code since that will insert lots of superfluous "+"'s. Some but not

Hi again, your code is still not reproducible without modifications, but I succeed in getting the data straight. All read.csv-command are missing 'sep="\t"', it is need to read you tsv-data. And it could be more reproducible if you used e.g. --- snip --- aes<-read.csv(text=" A.A B.B C.C D.D E.E F.F A.A 0 0 5 5 5 5 B.B 4 0 1 1 1 1 C.C 5 5 0 5 4 2 D.D 5 0 5 0 5 3 E.E

Dear coummunity Thanks a lot to David and Kimmo. Yes I see now that I need to provide the two raw tables. Find here the reproducible example. Kind regards Sibylle # R-labraries library(circlize) library(ggplot2) library(igraph) library(tidyverse) library(RColorBrewer) library(stringi) library(scico) library(plotly) library(ggraph) # Tables aes<-read.csv("Test_adjac.csv",

Hi, a quick additional note: try "edge.width= E(.)$weight" instead of the current "edge.width= network". Seems to work and makes a visible difference... geom_edge & color
Hi, this seems to work (assuming that your problem was the setting of colours...): --- snip --- network %>% ggraph(., layout = "auto") + # This produces an error... # geom_edge_arc(curvature=0.3, aes(width=(E(network)$weight/10), color=c("darkblue", "red")[as.factor(edge_list$relationship)], alpha=0.5)) + # ... this works :-)

geom_edge & color
Dear community I am using ggraph to plot a network analysis. See part 2 in the working example. Besides different colors for different groups of nodes: --> geom_node_point(aes(size = V(network)$hub_score*200, color= as.factor(V(network)$community))) I additionally want to consider different colors for different edge groups The grouping is defined in the edge_list$relationship: negative

no y-axis
HI @ all, I'm looking for a simple solution to supress the y-axis - but only the drawn scale - not the values. Only the numbers should be displayed. I tried yaxt="n" but there everything of the y-axis is supressed. Thanks GeO -- View this message in context: http://r.789695.n4.nabble.com/no-y-axis-tp4649298.html Sent from the R help mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

datasets para regresión logística binomial y multinomial
Buenas. Sé que en R hay multitud de datasets y me haría falta alguno que trataran de variables relacionadas con salud, sobre todo para aprender más acerca de cómo realizar una regresión logística binomial o multinomial. Gracias..

Colours for sunflowerplot
Dear fellow R users, I would like to draw a "sunflowerplot" because I have data (decade by month) that plots multiple times on the same x-y co-ordinates. Further I would like to colour each of the points/sunflower leaves on the plot according to the group they belong to (i.e. which type of event each represents within that decade and month). I thought that this would be relatively

setting global options for a package
This may be elementary, but I can't find an answer: How can I set up global options for some specific arguments to functions in a package which can be easily changed by the user? This question relates to the selection of colors used in functions in several packages (heplots, genridge), where I want to provide reasonable default values for plots, but allow users to change those defaults

boxplot and xlim confusion?
I have some code as shown below. Basically, I would like three boxplots to be set next to each other with no ylabels on the two "inner" plots, and I want the same x axis range on all three. However, it seems like boxplot does not respect the xlim setting. I've tried the various ways I thought would work (par, boxplot(...xlim=)) but none of them seem to work. I then tried plot.window,

template issue: nested variables?
I need to do something like this node foo { $iface = pcn0 ... } # the template <%= network_<%= iface %> %>/<% netmask_<%= iface %> %> The idea being that a file would be built on the client holding the value of pcn0''s network/netmask Of course, I''m trying to avoid hard coding the interface name in order to keep my code portable. Thanks in advance
