what's interesting to plot after predict.lm?
Dear all, I've fitted this model with train data lms <- lm(vd ~ log(v1) + fv2+ fv5+ fv7 ) and predicted over test data using plms <- predict.lm(lmsub, new=test,interval="predict", level=0.95,se.fit=TRUE) I've two questions: q1: what's the difference between writing interval "predict" or "confidence" ? How are they computed? Any

monotonic GAM with more than one term
Hi, Does anyone know how to fit a GAM where one or more smooth terms are constrained to be monotonic, in the presence of "by" variables or other terms? I looked at the example in ?pcls but so far have not been able to adapt it to the case where there is more than one predictor. For example, require(mgcv) set.seed(0) n<-100 # Generate data from a monotonic truth.

fsck -fvy ?
Dear All My server got inconsistency from sudden power cut that I fixed it with #fsck -fvy /dev/hda at the maintenance prompt . But after reboot, one of the installed applications is preventing it from booting up (as can be seen in the boot up process list). Can you please let me know how can I remove it from the boot up list to reach the root user prompt and then re-install it again ? Thank you

[PATCH] Update the 5 year logo to 10 year logo
Already outdated, but rounded ;) I literally just opened the 5yrs logo, changed the text and then done: inkscape -z -o logo/fish-10yrs.{png,svg} cp {logo,website}/fish-10yrs.svg and then updated the rest of the files. Signed-off-by: Martin Kletzander <mkletzan@redhat.com> --- Makefile.am | 2 + logo/fish-10yrs.png | Bin 0 -> 65790 bytes logo/fish-10yrs.svg |
