Problems with pyvorbis python bindings.
[Sorry if this is a duplicate post. My original didn't appear to have gotten through.] I had previously installed libao, libogg, libvorbis, and vorbis-tools, as linked from the RC3 download page at vorbis.com -- I downloaded and installed the latest versions of these four libraries from the vorbis.com download page, at which point my pyogg/pyvorbis Python bindings broke. date validation in rails 3
consider scenario, User model with name, birth_date fields (here birth_date is not mandatory field) inside view form birth_date is assigned as ''31/31/1985'' which is invalid ideally user object should be invalid and while save raise an error on birth_date field but that''s not happening and user object gets saved with birth_date as blank which is completely misleading.

Corrupt index files
I am running Dovecot IMAP on Linux, on a LizardFS storage cluster with Maildir storage. This has worked well for most of the accounts for several months. However in the last couple of weeks we are seeing increasing errors regarding corrupted index files. Some of the accounts affected are unable to retrieve messages due to timeouts. It appeared the problems were due to the accounts being accessed

Multiple time series and their names
Suppose I have multiple time series with names for each one, for example, x <- ts(matrix(rnorm(30,0,1),10,3), names=c("Juan", "Tuey", "Trey"), frequency=4) So now, as I start to explore these series, if I do everything at once, the names stay attached to the series. For example, plot(x) # gives a plot of the series with their names acf(x) # gives the ACFs &

7960 + 7914 Problems
I'm still having problems getting this to work. I cannot get anything to display on my 7914 other than blank lines. I have SIP/5920-5930 in [main] that I'd like to add to the 7914 and indicate hook status. The 7960 is registering okay as SCCP/5000. What exactly should my sccp.conf file look like? When I make changes to this, how do I enact them? Do I reload Asterisk and reboot the phone

Improving TAILS, WAS: Module Versioning
Here are some thoughts: 1. Customized Syslinux could be customized such that it refuses to boot from USB. No amount of version-matching nor downloading from the same source can help with that scenario. A different Syslinux would be needed, by definition (of the customizer) 2. Slightly less bad is where an ISO or CD/DVD is made with a key piece of non-ISOLINUX Syslinux missing
