I had the same problem yesterday. I found the solution from this article https://kashyapc.fedorapeople.org/virt/lc-2012/snapshots-handout.html. According to the article it deletes the tracking metadata by libvirt. Hi, I'm getting further in building Samba 4.2.1 . It's apparently not as simple as sudo ./configure && make && make install. At the moment it looks like make is ignoring some directory settings during configuration.
