Compilation errors when installing gee
Hi, I am trying to install gee on our server but I get the error below. I do not have root on this machine so no control on how R was installed itself. It looks like it cannot find blas libs, the only ones i can find on the machine are: /usr/lib64/libblas.so.3 -> libblas.so.3.0.3 /usr/lib64/libblas.so.3.0 -> libblas.so.3.0.3 /usr/lib64/libblas.so.3.0.3 and : $ R CMD config BLAS_LIBS

A question on list and lapply
Dear all, let say I have following list: Dat <- vector("list", length = 26) names(Dat) <- LETTERS My_Function <- function(x) return(rnorm(5)) Dat1 <- lapply(Dat, My_Function) However I want to apply my function 'My_Function' for all elements of 'Dat' except the elements having 'names(Dat) == "P"'. Here I have specified the name

Curious subsetting behavior
I have a simple vector, called tmp that I want to subset based on another vector called vec. Everything works as expected except for below where the subsetting returns something other than the original data. Any ideas? > vec <- c(1,2,3,4,5,59,60,27,32,21) > tmp [1] 1.0 1.1 2.0 2.1 2.2 3.0 3.1 4.0 5.0 5.1 6.0 7.0 8.0 8.1 9.0 [16] 9.1 9.2 10.0 10.1 11.0 12.0 13.0 14.0

storage class 0 symbol is generated for a double constant in COFF-x86-64 object file
Hi Reid, Sure. Here I attach the trimmed IR(sim_0.ll) which llc.exe takes and produces a 0 storage class symbol. The IR is fairly long but there is only 1 usage of real constant as actual argument passing to function iki_vlog_time() at line 137. The version of llc.exe is $ llc.exe --version LLVM (http://llvm.org/): LLVM version 7.0.1 DEBUG build. Default target: x86_64-pc-win32 Host

[LLVMdev] Please help with LLVM C++ integration
Hi Kirill, Don't forget to add X86TargetMachine.obj (add to Additional Dependencies in Linker options, if you are using MSVS) otherwise LLVM will try and use Interpreter instead of JIT. Hope this helps, Rob. > -----Original Message----- > From: llvmdev-bounces at cs.uiuc.edu [mailto:llvmdev-bounces at cs.uiuc.edu] > On Behalf Of kirill havok > Sent: Wednesday, August 20, 2008

To fix it, I think you want to add a declaration telling the compiler to treat some_test_func()

storage class 0 symbol is generated for a double constant in COFF-x86-64 object file
Hi, I am using the llvm codegen facility (version 7.0.1) to translate LLVM IR for different platforms. I have this error particularly in win64 platform. In my IR code I have such code snippet: %50 = call i8* @my_function(i8* %48, double 2.000000e+00, double 2.000000e+00) ... declare dllimport i8* @my_function(i8*, double, double) By passing it to llc.exe, I find following symbol is declared in

[LLVMdev] loop transformation: uniquely identifying a loop within a program
hi all, We are writing a loop transformation using the llvm loop pass class, but we do not want to run the pass on all loops within a program. We are looking for suggestions on how we can uniquely identify certain loops that we want to transform. So far, we are working on a suggestion to transform the loops depending on which function they're run from in the program. Which will be something

apply a function down each column
Hello World, I have a function that makes pairwise comparisons between two strings. I would like to apply this function to my data (which consists of columns with different strings) in the way that it compares the first with the second entry, and then the third with the fourth, and then the fifth with the sixth, and so on down each column... So (2x-1) and (2x) would be the different entries to be

I 'd like to do something like: useDebug = defmacro(DEBUG, expr=(DEBUG==1)) if(useDebug(0)){ #Here I do not use debug mode make_addition = function(a, b) { c=a+b plot(c) return(c) } }else{ #here I use debug mode c=a+b } I assume this would work... [LLVMdev] Operating on contents of virtual registers
Hello, I was facing some difficulty in implementing a transform and I was wondering if I could get some help please. The transform needs to operate on the operands of certain instructions. For example, given an instruction, say "%10 = load i32* %9, align 4", I have to record the value of %9 and process it. Of course, this is only possible at runtime and so I am instrumenting the code

[LLVMdev] Creating Pointer Constants
Hello, I am writing a JIT compiler for a subset of the Matlab language and as a part of my implementation, I would like to be able to pass a constant pointer to a native function I'm calling. Right now, this is what I do: llvm::Constant* constInt = llvm::ConstantInt::get(llvm::Type::Int64Ty, (int64)thePointer); llvm::Value* constPtr = llvm::ConstantExpr::getIntToPtr(constInt,
