"dlm" Package: Calculating State Confidence Intervals
To Whom It May Concern, I estimated a model with 6 states (3 time-varying Regression parameters and 3 quarterly seasonality trends). The model is saved in the object titled "mod." Following the example in the documentation and using the commands below, I am attempting to use the function "dlmSvd2var" to implement SVD and calculate the 90% confidence errors for each

graphic question
Hello, I have a simple question that I could not really figure out. I am plotting labels within a graph using the text function. I first plot the first label by specifying the x and y coordinates on the graph. Then to plot the second label next to it, I am using te strwidth function to get the width of the previous label in user coordinate then add the maximum width to the x value. However, this

package 'synchronization' for multiple systems
I'm setting up multiple systems and ideally I want the same package configuration on all of them. So I'm going through yum and rpm queries manually to try and get this done. There must be a better way. Is there a way to use yum or rpm to configure multiple systems with the same packages? If yum or rpm has something native built into it to do this, that would be great. If

Dear All, we are running a dist. repl. volume on 4 nodes including geo-replication to another location. the geo-replication was running fine for months. since 18th jan. the geo-replication is faulty. the geo-rep log on the master shows following error in a loop while the logs on the slave just show 'I'nformations... somehow suspicious are the frequent 'shutting down connection'

The problem: When I boot the laptop without external LCD/CRT, beryl is working fine, but when I boot it with the external, it recognice fine the external LCD and don't want to allow beryl run. X11 device doesn't handle destroy events correcly (PR#848)
Hi, there are two problems in devX11.c. The one is an undocumented nuisance and the other isn't a bug until you try to embed an X11 device in another window (think tktoplevel() in tcltk package...). Let's take a look at locator() first: Assuming you call locator() with a current X11 device, this call is handled in X11_Locator (src/unix/X11/devX11.c). When you have one window open and

devX11.c -- questions about expose events and XBell
Hi, sorry for lumping this together... Both these issues are rather small, and I'm not sure either qualifies as a bug... 1) After a window id created in X11_Open and mapped, you "gobble the expose events". The lists of elements can be drag-dropped on the treeview in order to move them around (they are also draggable on other parts of the page) I need though, to refresh the treeview to reflect changes when a folder was moved
