Displaying line breaks & paragraphs using 'simple_format' ?
Hi there,
I need to:
1. STORE a text of the below format in a (MySQL) database (using a
''textarea''), and then
2. RETRIEVE & DISPLAY it in exactly the same format (meaning: keeping
all paragraphs/line breaks).
The intended text format looks like this:

IAXTEL toll-free gateway
I have been playing around with asterisk for a week or so now and
haven't had too much trouble getting things to work but one thing seems
to puzzle me. I have been patient hoping that there was a configuration
error on the server or that the toll-free gateway was down but nothing
has changed. I have the following configuration context for IAXTEL:

Serving a playlist.pls / listen.m3u file
Hi - I've heard that Icecast provides a fake "playlist file" along the lines of
http://blahblah:8000/listen.m3u
or
http://blahblah:8000/playlist.pls
because Quicktime can't seem to handle the stream without a playlist
file to wrap it up. (There may be other reasons.) However, I can't
seem to find any documentation about this, and guessing various URLs
on my icecast2.0.1

iscsi confusion
I am confused, because I would have expected a 1-to-1 mapping, if you create an iscsi target on some system, you would have to specify which LUN it connects to. But that is not the case...
I read the man pages for sbdadm, stmfadm, itadm, and iscsiadm. I read some online examples, where you first "sbdadm create-lu" which gives you a GUID for a specific device in the system, and then

Occasional problem with POP3-Download
Hello everyone,
I have two mailservers [1] running dovecot. Mail store format is
maildir. Every once in a while I have the following problem: When a User
downloads his mail via POP3, the client says something like "the server
has closed the connection unexpectedly, and gives this reason:
[...blahblah...]".
One can now cancel the download, and restart it, and the problem shows
up again

[LLVMdev] Simplifing the handling of pre-legalize vector nodes
Right now there are special SelectionDAG node kinds for operations on
"abstract" vector types (VLOAD, VADD, and all the rest), and a special
MVT::Vector ValueType for them. These nodes carry two additional operands,
constants which specify the vector length and element type. All of this is
only used before legalize; then they are replaced with regular node kinds
and value types.

cross compilation?
../openssh-3.1p1/configure --host=mips-linux --build=i686-linux --with-pam
does not work.
It selects the correct toolchain prefix, but the configure script bails
on cross-compilation.
Attached is a patch that *might* make the right paranoid assumptions,
but I am not positive.

sip.conf best practices?
All - I've been wrestling with how to best structure the sip device
accounts on a new asterisk server I'm deploying. All of the sip
devices (currently only Linksys SPA941s) will reside on the same
subnet as the server, and I have already set up a decent automatic
provisioning system for the phones. When the rollout is complete,
there will be about 100 SIP devices authenticating and

You will need to grant the 'libvirt-qemu' user search permissions for the following directories....
Hello,
Why LIBVIRT software/libs need to chown "near the root level" (home/blahblah/) when raw/vdi/vhd can contains lots of directories as /home/user/Virtual_HDs/desktop/daddy/private/bedroom/number2/hd.vdi ?
on ubuntu, "/media/hostname" can contains all our external HD's without relation with virtualization !!! :-(
