How would i go about mapping the NT group "everyone" to samba or linux. I would like to be able to just give a nt specified group permissions to a share. My samba server is member of a domain and i figured out how to authenticate with the NT server using domain security. Any answers would be appreciated. thanks MattB

Hi all, I'd like to know that whether it is possible to map domain user to Everyone and preserve ACL information when "xcopy /O /K" files from window client to samba. Both samba server and windows client have joined Active Directory. This is another plea for help with the samba bug of being unable to remove the read permission from the everyone entry. In the samba bugzilla the closest entry I can find is #4325. I made a note on the issue and would be happy to provide any log files or debug info needed. This is pretty critical as permissions cannot be adequately modified from windows. Any ideas?
