new to the list - problems with non-solid lines in eps export
Dear all,
I am new to this list and, unfortunately, could not provide help to anyone as
yet. I hope I can do so in the future, though! Until then, I am grateful for
helpful hints from you more experienced users.
For use in an upcoming publication, I generated an eps figure from my x11
window under Debian Linux with dev.copy2eps. It contains 28 line plots with 2
lines each, one solid and one

[OT] R on Atlas library
Dear List,
I am aware this is slightly off-topic, but I am sure there are people who already had the problem and who perhaps solved it.
I am running long-lasting model fits using constrOptim command. At work
there is a linux computer (Quad Core, debian) on which I already have
compiled R and Atlas, in the hope that things will go faster on that
machine.
Atlas offers the possibility to be

wrong size displayed with df after upgrade to 3.12.6
Dear all,
I encountered the same issue, I saw that this is fixed in 3.12.7 but I
cannot find this release in the main repo (centos storage SIG), only in
the test one.
What is the expectation to see this release available into the main repo?
Greetings,

mkdir -p, cp -R fails
Dear all,
I identified the source of the problem:
if i set "server.root-squash on", then the problem is 100% reproducible,
with "server.root-squash off", the problem vanishes.
This is true for glusterfs 3.12.3, 3.12.4 and 3.12.6 (haven't tested other versions)
best wishes,
Stefan

wrong size displayed with df after upgrade to 3.12.6
Dear all,
I have a problem with df after I upgraded from 3.12.4 to 3.12.6
All four bricks are shown als online, and all bricks are being used.
gluster v stats shows the correct sizes for all devices.
However, df does not show the correct glusterfs volume size.
It seems to me that it "forgets" one brick. Although all bricks are used when I'm writing files.
best wishes,
Stefan

wrong size displayed with df after upgrade to 3.12.6
Hi Stefan,
There is a known issue with gluster 3.12.x builds (see [1]) so you may be
running into this. Please take a look at [1] and try out the workaround
provided in the comments.
Regards,
Nithya

mkdir -p, cp -R fails
Dear all,
I have problem with glusterfs 3.12.4
mkdir -p fails with "no data available" when umask is 0022, but works when umask is 0002.
Also recursive copy (cp -R or cp -r) fails with "no data available", independly of the umask.
See below for an example to reproduce the error. I already tried to change transport from rdma to tcp. (Changing the transport works, but

programming to calculate variance
Dear R-user
Suppose I have the following data
y=c(2,1,5,8,11,3,1,7,50,21,33,7,60)
x=data.frame(y)
for(i in 4:nrow(x)) x[i,] =var(x[i-3:i-1,])
I'm trying to get a new variable with the variance of the 3 previous values
(just an example) and with NA in the three first positions. I know that my
for() is wrong
but I'm not able to find my error.
Any idea?
Thanks,
Marlene.

Colorbar too wide in eps
Hi!
When I plot my filled.contour plot

everything looks fine on the screen.
But if I wrap these two lines

around the line above in order to create an eps file, the

EEG data for time series
Dear R People:
I have a data set with EEG data. There are 128 measurements per second for
16 locations. What is the best way to handle these series, please?
Thanks,
Erin

3 levelplots and 1 colorbar
I want to create a simple plot containing three levelplots with one colorbar.
I used the "Three levelplots" code below, but the third levelplot is drawn
smaller than the first two. However, if I try the "Two levelplots" code below
it works well. Can anybody tell me how could I draw three levelplots (of the
same size) with one colorbar.
Thanks in advance, Joaquin

In this case just use 'colorbar' to get a 'legend'.

[EXT] Replace broken host, keeping the existing bricks
Hi,
The method depends a bit if you use a distributed-only system (like me) or a replicated setting.
I'm using a distributed-only setting (many bricks on different servers, but no replication). All my servers boot via network, i.e., on a start, it's like a new host.
To rescue the old bricks, just set up a new server this the same OS, the same IP and and the same hostname (!very

ERP software
I was just playing around with the R-streams package, reading in some data
from an old experiment we did here, and was again amazed by the flexibility
of the R environment. The eaze with wich I was able to generate simple plots
of my EEG data made me wonder if someone tried to implement an ERP package.
For the non-cognitive scientists ou there: EEG is electrical activity

colorbar legend for image()
Hi,
are there any plans to add a colorbar legend to image()?
Or such a possibility already implemented which I just haven't
discovered yet. Anyway, I will be willing to spent some time on the
implementation if there isn't anyone working on that already.
Thanks
Thomas

create a gui with a button to change graphic?
Hello everybody,
I am wondering if it is possible to create a gui to plot a time series
that is very big, it's an EEG signal of 20mins. What I would like to do
is plot the first 5mins, then have a button on the gui that plots the
next 5mins when pushed.
Is it possible?
Thanks in advance !
Gael.

Recurrence plots in R using different colours
Hello,
I am an absolutely beginner with regards to R, so forgive me for my
potentially very stupid questions.
I have been attempting to create recurrence plots using R. The data I am
using is based on a mutually exclusive and exhaustive coding scheme with
over 40 individual codes which can be assigned to 6 higher order categories.
When I carry out the usual rqa command, my plot is pretty much

Using multcomp::glht() with Anova object
Hello everyone,
I've conducted a Type III repeated-measures ANOVA using Anova() from the

factors: Condition (3 levels) and Region (6 levels) and their interaction.
Below is code to run the Anova

Ogg Format
The format you're describing here actually has *more* overhead than Ogg,
not less. It's also unseakable, not robust errors, and without support
for metadata. I'm not sure why you would want that. It's not like you're
forced to include much data in the Ogg metadata (which seems to be the
source of all the overhead you're seeing).
