Embedding discussion onto a webpage
Dear all,
I have a digg-clone website. However, I want it so that when a user
clicks on a link (which links to another website), it opens up the link
along with embedded discussion (from my website). This is so that a user
can both view the link and also discuss it at the same time.
Are there examples of ways of doing this? I am interested in using Ajax
or Javascript to do this. I do wish

redirect_to is changing my webpage charset
Gents,
I just figured out that redirect_to do something with the HTTP headers.
Specially the Content-type and charset.
I mean:
I got diferent encodings (charsets) if I use
http://myapp.com/welcome/index or http://myapp.com/welcome/
Can anyone tell me how can I solve that?

embed in webpage
Hi all,
I want to use R to provide participants in psychology experiments with
their scores on various measures. I looked around and found several
programs designed to do this. I settled on Rpad because it seemed easy
to set up and use. I have it working (see
http://realpsychresearch.org/blog/feedback-web-based-studies ), but
there is a problem. I need to select the data corresponding to the

Layout of AsciiDoc-based NUT webpage
Arnaud,
one thing that bothers me a little bit about the new CSS webpage
layout is that the NUT banner at the top obscures the text in the top
portion of the page.
This is not too much of an issue until you click on a link within a
document, and the browser scrolls to that anchor. Most of the time,
the destination of the link will be hidden behind the NUT banner.
Can we make the banner scroll

SFTP Logging Patch Webpage
For those in the open-ssh community that have been using my SFTP
Logging patches over the years, I've finally posted a webpage
where I will keep the patch available to the public. It is current
as of 4.0p1.
All versions of the patch that I have readily available are at:
http://oddgeek.info/code/openssh/
It goes back as far as 2.9, though I obviously wouldn't encourage

Can wine be used to view a webpage online?
I am curious. There are online game sites tailored to work well with
windows which do not work well with Linux. For example:
http://www.pogo.com
Some of the games work, but others crash such as say "word whomp." This
happened to me in Fedora 10 and Ubuntu 10.10. Is there a way to open a
website using java pop-ups like 'word whomp' in wine with Linux? I

Auto-dial from webpage
I want to create a CGI that will allow me to make a call when a user
clicks on a URL in a webpage. I believe I need to create a file in
/var/spool/asterisk/outgoing that defines the number I want to call and
the phone I want to connect it to but I see no way to define the phone
number I want to dial in the /usr/src/asterisk/sample.call file I see
mentioned in other posts. Is it possible to do what

asterisk.org webpage
hi all
for new users, finding asterisk info is unneccesary troublesome. the
asterisk.org page has very little information about the product and
using google for 'asterisk' is like using google for 'linux'. you get
all too many hits that has nothing to do with the product. perhaps the
asterisk.org page at least should point to voip-info.org? or perhaps
