p adjustment on 4thcorner results
Hi all, This is probably a very simple question but I cannot figure out how to do it. I run the fourthcorner method with my data and would like to adjust the p values for multiple comparisons using Holm correction. When I run the fourthcorner I obtain the results in yellow. What do I need to do to be able to aply the Holm correction to those p values? > library(ade4) > four1 <-

Problems with time formats when importing data using readHTMLTable
Hi, I am extracting positions data from the marine traffic website. The table has a "Timestamp" column which, in the browser, appears with the format yyyy-mm-dd HH:MM (UTC), e.g. 2017-07-10 14:04 (UTC). When I import the table, the same date "2017-07-10 14:04 (UTC)" appears as "1499696500149969650021 minutes ago", This is the more recent date and time. Older

tracing a problem with newhidups
Hi. I'm having trouble with nut-2.0.3 on a linux kernel 2.4.32 machine and a MGE Evolution 3000. The problem is that I'm getting the following message, repeatidly, on dmesg: usbdevfs: usb_submit_urb returned -22 (-22 means -EINVAL) I traced the problem with newhidups -DDDDDD auto and found out that the -22 error appears in a line "none (-22)" of the output as: ----------

Smart1500lcdt will not connect with usbhid-ups
I talked to Tripp Lite Technical support. Their policy is that they only support Fedora and SUSE. There is no one there that could help with Ubuntu or NUT issues. The only answer they could give me was to port the rpm files to Ubuntu and use them. This is way beyond my experience level. I will go to the local electronics store and buy a cheap USB 2 hub to see if that works. I will post the

Smart1500lcdt will not connect with usbhid-ups KSTAR BM3150 1500VA "Line Interactive" High Frequency UPS
Barry, I have had success with NUT on Debian and an EATON 5E2000IUSB-AU 5E 2000VA/1200W UPS With 3 x OUTLETS which I believe is good value. I would believe the the EATON ?5E 1500VA/900W UPS With 3 x OUTLETS would work just as well. The 1500VA also uses the same batteries as the 2000VA so I would believe it would run its raited load longer than 2000VA. My eight drive RAID driver uses less that

5.5 & gspca
Irritating quirkyness: we have a bunch of videocams. To use, we use gspca. Usually, on an upgrade, I just go into the gspca directory (which appears, from their website, to have not been updated since '07), make clean, make, make install. Having gone up to 5.5, did the same. What's happening now is that it works, delivers the mpgs... but dumps errors in the logs: <snip> kernel:

Split-split plot ANOVA
Does someone out there have an example of R-code for a split-split plot ANOVA using aov or another function? The design is not balanced. I never set up one in R before and it would be nice to see an example before I tackle a very complex design I have to model. syslog flooding
Greetings; Nut pull & build from about two weeks ago, 2.4.3 I believe. Belkin UPS. I have everything working but a proper shutdown of upsd when I reboot, it hangs there and needs the hdwe reset button to reset it. That may be related to my finding more than 1 K##upsd and more than one K##upsmon, in /etc/rc5.d and which I have now nuked. However, while its working well enough to monitor,

Forward stepwise procedure w/ stepAIC
I'm attempting to select a model using stepAIC. I want to use a forward selection procedure. I have specified a "scope" option, but must not be understanding how this works. My results indicate that the procedure begins and ends with the "full" model (i.e., all 17 independent variables)...not what I expected. Could someone please point out what I'm not

'git llvm push' not working for me on Windows
OK, I've managed to do it: I was trying to push it from a build/ directory, maybe that's why the git apply was failing. Pushing the commit from the root of the repo worked. 'git llvm push' not working for me on Windows
Poking around in the .git\llvm-upstream-svn tree, I find that llvm\trunk\test\DebugInfo\Generic is empty, as are all the other subdirectories of test\DebugInfo that I tried. I have other files in the checkin that are in leaf directories but those files all exist. I hacked git-llvm to add a –verbose option: `git apply --verbose -p2 -` returned 1 Checking patch

'git llvm push' not working for me on Windows
The usual workaround is to do `rm –rf .git/llvm-upstream-svn` and try again. You could also patch llvm/utils/git-svn/git-llvm to add the `--verbose` option to the `git apply` command, which would provide better diagnostic output.
