generating Venn diagram with 6 sets
Dear r-helpers,
Here I would like to have your kind helps on generating Venn diagram.
There are some packages within R on this task, like venneuler, VennDiagram,
vennerable. But, vennerable can not be installed on my Mac book. It seems
VennDiagram can not work on my data. And, venneuler may have generated a
wrong Venn diagram to me.
Do you have any experience/expertise on those Venn diagram?

venneuler() - customize a few things.
Esteemed UseRs and DevelopeRs,
Just coming to terms with the very attractive proportional venn
gernator, venneuler(), but would like to customize a few things.
Is it possible to-
-suppress all circle labels?
-suppress only certain circle labels?
-print specific text strings at specified locations within the circles?
and unions?
-specify circle colors?
-specify label font, size & color?

Venn Diagram corresponding to size in R
I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to make a Venn
diagram in R where the circles are scaled to the size of each dataset. I
have looked at the information for venn (in gplots) and vennDiagram (in
limma) and I cannot seem to figure out what parameter to change. I have
looked this up online and do not seem to be seeing anyone else who has
posted this question or the answer to it

venneuler() - customize a few things
Hi,
I was wondering if it would be possible to print the counts of common
items in the venneuler() diagrams.
Anybody knows a straightforward idea?
I can always count things from the data matrix, but I have vectors with
50 thousands elements.
thanks

segfault in gplots::heatmap.2
Hi all,
I am taking this over from r-help (see
http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lang.r.general/273985).
I experience a segfault when calling gplots::heatmap.2(), but only when
certain other packages are loaded.
I am not sure for the correct place to send this bug report. Should I send
it to the package maintainers directly? If R-help is the wrong place,
please feel free to direct me to

Package: VennDiagram. Error in draw.pairwise.venn Impossible: cross section area too large
Dear list,
When I use VennDiagram package, I got a error as follow:
venn.plot <- draw.pairwise.venn(
area1 = 3186,
area2 = 325,
cross.area = 5880);
Error in draw.pairwise.venn(area1 = 3186, area2 = 325, cross.area = 588) :
Impossible: cross section area too large.
Does anyone have suggestion?
Thank you.

Suggested Patch: Adding commas to list of packages after R CMD check
Dear R-devs,
Scenario:
When checking a package via `R CMD check package_tar.ball`, required / suggested packages may be missing. R subsequently returns a list of packages that are missing (delimited by spaces).
Example:
```
R CMD check glmSparseNet_0.99.13.tar.gz
* using log directory '/home/ubuntu/Bioconductor/glmSparseNet.Rcheck'
* using R Under development (unstable) (2018-06-06
from data.frame to Venn diagram
Hello All,
I have a data.frame with this structure:
m <- matrix(sample(c(rep('yes', 10, replace = TRUE), rep('no', 10,
replace = TRUE), NA), 500, replace = TRUE), nrow = 100, ncol = 5)
colnames(m) <- colnames(m, do.NULL = FALSE, prefix = "col")
m <- as.data.frame(m)
I need to generate a Venn diagram from this data.frame, displaying the
colorful venn diagram
Hi all,
I am trying to plot a venn diagram using vennDiagram in limma package,
but I have no idea how to have it colorful such as the color one created
by the following website: http://www.pangloss.com/seidel/Protocols/venn.cgi.
Any one has any advice?
Thanks,
RColorBrewer
Hi there everyone! So I'm a student in college, taking a very basic
Statistics course. We're using R for most of our assignments. I've hit a
pretty big wall here. I'm attempting to create a heat map of the entire
united states which corresponds to a set of percentages I have for each
state. My teacher suggested that I simply create a color palette with
RColorBrewer that is in the
[LLVMdev] proof of concept for a loop fusion pass
Hi,
We are proposing a loop fusion pass that tries to proactive fuse loops across function call boundaries and arbitrary control flow.
http://reviews.llvm.org/D7008
With this pass, we get 103 loop fusions in SPECCPU INT 2006 462.libquantum with rate performance improving close to 2.5X in x86 (results from AMD A10-6700).
I took some liberties in patching up some of the code in
How to identify overlapped items from two list and plot them?
Hi list,
I have a question on how to identify the overlapped items from two vectors:
>x<-c(0,1,2)
>y<-c(1,2,2,3)
and plot the number of the overlapped as well as non-overlapped in a
diagram?
Thanks much,
Allen
VennDiagram Bugs
Hello,
Even though the documentation says that it is possible to have a scaled Euler diagram for three categories, this fails to happen. All of the circles are the same size.
My commands are :
library(VennDiagram)
A <- 1:10
B <- 9:18
C <- 15:500
venn.diagram(list(NameOne=A, NameTwo=B, NameThree=C), "example.tiff", euler.d = TRUE, scaled = TRUE, fill = c("red",
Venn diagram
Hello,
I am a total beginner with ?R? and found a package ?venn? to
create a venn diagram.
The problem is, I cannot create the vectors required for the diagram.
The manual say:
"R> venn(accession, libname, main = "All samples")
where accession was a vector containing the codes identifying
the RNA sequences, and libname was a vector containing the codes
identifying the
