Hello,
This is WJ.
I downloaded R(2.15.0) and Tinn-R(2.3.7.1) from http://sourceforge.net/projects/tinn-r/ for my computer (window 7 OS).
I want to know how to integrate Tinn-R with R(2.15.0).
So far, I was able to find some web-site has step for integration, so I updated the following steps.
Open the file 'Rprofile.site' and add the following lines to the end of the file:

Upgrading to TINN - R 2.1.1.6
I know this has been addressed before, but I'm still confused by the
solution.
When running TINN - R (ver 2.1.1.6) with R (2.8.0) I have lost the
functionality of TINN-R
It returns an error
source(.trPaths[5], echo=TRUE, max.deparse.length=150)
I modified the RProfile.site file as follows:

R and DDE (Dynamic Data Exchange)
R and DDE (Dynamic Data Exchange)
Dear Rusers,
I run an application (not mine) which acts as a DDE server.
I would like to use R to get data from this application,
say once per minute, and do some processing on it.
I didn't find much info on the R DDE abilities, apart the tcltk2
package in which I will try to go deeper.
I would be very thankful for any info, pointer or advice about the

Capturing buffered output from Rterm
In MS Windows I
a) invoke Rterm from a batch file (test.bat)
b) to execute commands from a script (m:\test.rsc)
c) capturing output in a log file (m:\test.log)
BUT if the script results in an error the error message is NOT written to
the log file, leaving me problems when the error is from a complicated
function.
Simplified example:.

MetaTrader DDE Support
Has anyone tried to use DDE support with Metatrader?
I have an example Excel spreadsheet, which I believe/hope will also work in OOo Calc, that uses DDE links to Metatrader to 'read' the live data and import this into cells.
So,
i) Is DDE supported between Metatrader in Wine and other applications?
ii) Does it work with other applications outside of Wine?
iii) Has anyone been able to

DDE error with using QBridge networking
Hi,
I have successfully installed Q-Bridge on Wine and got it work alright
for single user use, but I wanted to also be able to use its networking
facility. This uses a separate Q-NET program with which the main
program exchanges network calls using DDE. When I try and initiate the
networking service I get a DDE error.
I am new to WINE and wonder whether DDE issues are a common problem, or

Tinn-R
Hi,
How do I stop Tinn-R from starting automatically when I start R or R studio,
without uninstalling it.
I just started using R studio and might want to switch back to Tinn-R so I
don't want to uninstall it.
Thanks,

Goldmine DDE to Linux Wordprocessor
Hello,
Newbie to wine.
I have built a wine binary from source (wine-20031212). I have been
able to get Goldmine 5.0 running well with this version of wine.
Goldmine has the ability to perform a DDE interface to format some
information and launch a word processor. Essentially, to fill in some
macro pieces before opening a template. I can get the interface to work

DDE problems
Hi!
I started using wine (wine-20020122 compiled from source tarball) a couple
of weeks ago to run a store-point-of-sale application.
The idea is to port this windows application to linux. Before porting, we
decided to check if the app could be emulated on linux with wine or
recompiled with winelib.
This is also necessary to run proprietary windows DLLs from third parties
such as credit card

TinnR & Philips Webcam
Hi All,
I have a Philips Webcam, model SPC110NC. I had to download a diver in order for the webcam to work with Skype from the philips support page (www.philips.com/support).
Now when I start up TinnR to use with R, it opens the webcam. If I manually start up R, Tinn R will no longer synch with it.
Also, when I install the webcam driver there doesn't appear to be anyway to modify the
