by and by: using two indices in by() or tapply()
Hi everyone I want to apply a function by two indices. I have a number of surveyors submitting questionnaires. I want to check the time of the first submission for the day for each surveyor and also see a NA is no submission was done on a particular day. This generates a sample of the data:

xy plot key colors don't match plot
Hi Trying to finish a simple xyplot, but the key colors don't match those specified on the plot. I have only been able to change the color of the key text, but not the points. [LLVMdev] Methods on addrspace pointers
Thank you for the prompt response, Matt. In your transform I'd take a look at things like the individual basic blocks you're replacing and the functions you're replacing and making sure that the various lexical blocks are being changed at the same time... -eric On Tue, Dec 3, 2013 at 11:12 PM, David Blaikie <dblaikie at gmail.com> wrote: > On Tue, Dec 3, 2013 at 10:07 PM, Brandon Holt <bholt at

form_tag error -- not found, 404 -- action DOES exist!
Hi -- I''ve got a very strange error. I have an action called ''commit_input'' on a controller called ''SiteVisitController''. This definately exists, and is called from the functional test for it, and passes fine. My problem is with the form that is supposed to call this action. The form tag is: <%=

Thanks for the quick response. I wrote some code to search “llvm.dbg.cu” for the function (right before the failed assertion): if (TheCU == nullptr) { errs() << "compile unit: " << TheCU << "\n scopeNode(" << FnScope->getScopeNode() << ") => " << *FnScope->getScopeNode() << "\n"; auto fn =

[LLVMdev] DwarfDebug problems
How do I find and update the lexical blocks? Is, for example, “CloneFunction” doing this in a way I can copy? I tried finding the subprogram node in “llvm.dbg.cu” and updating the function: DISubprogram s(*subprog_iter); if (s.getFunction() == F) { s.replaceFunction(NF); } But this didn’t seem to have any effect. Do I need to do something similar with every basic block or something? On Dec

[LLVMdev] Methods on addrspace pointers
I’ve been developing an optimization pass that uses the address space attribute (__attribute__((address_space(200))) to indicate different kinds of pointers to be treated differently (I’m making them be pointers to a “global” address space as in UPC). However, I’ve hit a snag in the frontend code generator: if I try to make a method call on a pointer with a custom address space, the frontend

[LLVMdev] DwarfDebug problems
In a pass I’m working on, I’ve done some manipulation of several functions, replacing them with new copies with different types, etc. The LLVM IR passes the verifier, but when I have debug symbols enabled (“-g”), I get the following error when Clang generates the Dwarf info (using a very recent build of LLVM/Clang from Git mirror): > Assertion failed: (TheCU && "Unable to find

subset() missing one factor
The data set (called 'chemdata') has 6 columns (4 factors, 1 date, 1 numeric) and I need to create subsets for each of one of the factors ('stream'). This has worked flawlessly for all but two streams which were created yesterday. The command I use to create the subsets is like this: > rnchH <- subset(chemdata, stream == 'RanchSpgsH', select = c(site, sampdate,

exaustive subgrouping or combination
Dear Colleagues, I am looking for a package or previous implemented R to subgroup and exaustively divide a vector of squence into 2 groups. For example: 1, 2, 3, 4 I want to have a group of 1, (2,3,4) (1,2), (3,4) (1,3), (2,4) (1,4), (2,3) (1,2,3), 4 (2,3), (1,4) ... Can someone help me as how to implement this? I get some imaginary problem when the sequence becomes large. Thanks much in

Better way of Grouping?
Hello R users, This is more of a convenience question that I hope others might find useful if there is a better answer. I work with large datasets that requires multiple parsing stages for different analysis. For example, compare group 3 vs. group 4. A more complicated comparison would be time B in group 3 of group L with B in group 4 of group L. I normally subset each group with the
