Usage of logos @ http://llvm.org/Logo.html for coffee mug
Hello,
I would like to let produce a LLVM coffee mug for myself for non-commerical
use. Am I allowed to use the logos on your website for the production?
Thanks in advance.
Greetings,

logos and goodies
I've got a couple questions related to my search (in vain) for an "R" tshirt
or coffee mug. The first question is simply: is there a higher-resolution
R logo available than the one at r-developer.org? (or the modified one
provided by useR conference pages)
Next: what are the chances of someone in the "R management" setting up a

Ok thank you very much that sounds great. Do you know where I could get the
derivate logos in bigger resolution? On the site not all logos are
available in .svg format.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much, this one I found I meant the other logos.
Unfortunately there is no link to the other logos .svg or .ai format. Do
you have a clue or how I could contact the creator of this logo?
Thanks again for your patience.

I am not certain, but I know one person to ask. I sent them an email off list and will follow up shortly.

Axes labels, greek letters and spaces
Hello all,
I can't seem to figure how to use a greek character in expression() in
plot() labels without adding a space. So for example below when plotting
this out
x<-1:10
plot(x,x^2, xlab=expression(Chlorophyll~italic(a)~mu~g~cm^-2))
the axis label read as μ g cm^-2 because I have space there with a tilda.
But if I remove the tilda then my units are mug cm^-2.
Can anyone recommend a

Reading graphics files
Is there a tool for reading a graphics file into an object? I might not
be looking with the correct vocabulary, but I'm finding lots of references
to producing graphics from R, but not any for inputting graphics into R.
I'd like to use a jpeg image and have the data available in R for
analysis. I could convert the image to another format, PPM perhaps, and
parse that in, GRASS seems like

Very Cool.........Asterisk Made Wired Magazine
Hi Guys,
The article "They've Got Your number" in the Dec 2004 issue of WIRED
magazine mentions Asterisk PBX (on p.100). The article is about phone
phreaks hijacking cell phones with Bluetooth technology along with spoofing
CID to pull some clandestine hacks on the PSTN. Anyhow, Asterisk is
mentioned as the PBX of choice for an outfit: Telephreaks.org out of Florida

Multiple colors in plots/lookup function
Hello,
I'd like to do something like:
n<-100
zz<-cbind(rnorm(n),rnorm(n),floor(runif(n)*3+1))
colors<-c("red","green","blue")
plot(zz,col=colors(zz[3]))
and have a matrix of scatterplots colored by class. The above does not
work, of course, but I'm not sure exactly what function I'm looking for.
Thank you for your time,
Dave,

Browsing works, but not graphically
I know browsing is an old topic, but I've not seemed to find out what is
causing my problem. Browsing seems to work from the command line, but not
graphically.
Complaint:
inside of windows, mug does not show up on the browse list, but allows
connections.
Environment:
se-ntserver is a NT Server on domain SE-NTNET 128.143.6.*
mug is linux on 128.143.6.* (running samba 2.0.6)

samba, win98, and browse list problem.
Hello,
Here's a repost on my message of a few days ago, for reasons that I'm
not sure if it went through. If it did, my apologies, all suggestions
welcome.
I'm having an identical problem on slackware linux 7.0 and freebsd
3.4-release and windows 98-2, with sp1, and samba 2.05 and 2.06,
depending on which system I've got up. Whenever I restart samba for
whatever reason, making a

Won't %L work anymore?
I am trying to run multiple instances of samba on the same unix host. This
is being done so that I can functionally breakdown the usage into, for
example, a "finance" server and an "engineering" server. This is not
based upon the client or the user, but based upon the virtual server.
My first attempts were a real problem in that, though the config file

Can I use printa() for printing multiple agg regations?
Hi Bryan,
> Does that sit well with everyone?
Seems fine to me.
Just revisiting one of Dragan''s points, though (sorry if I missed the
answer) - is there a reason for making this global (via a #pragma) rather
than, say, simply providing two functions which print in the different
orders? e.g. printa() for sort by sample, printak() for sort by key.
My reason for wanting to do both in
