using some of the new Java 1.6 features and I just can't get JRI to
work with this setup.
Here is what I get:

calling R from within Java, using jri
Hi,
I want to call R from within Java, using jri as per
http://www.rosuda.org/software/jri/
So I am following the instructions in the README file for JRI 0.2-4.
I have run 'sh configure.win' and 'make' and they seemed to be
successful.
(See below for the output from make, for example.)
But when I try 'run.bat rtest' (with and without R command line
arguments)

directory where R.dll and jri.dll are. Yet when I run the rtest

R_parseVector and syntax error [was: error messages while parsing with rniParse]
Hello,
[I'm redirecting this here from stats-rosuda-devel]
When parsing R code through R_parseVector and the code generates an
error (syntax error), is there a way to grab the error.
It looks like yyerror populates the buffer "R_ParseErrorMsg", but then
the variable is not part of the public api.
Would it be possible to add yet another entry point to the parser that

stop R mainloop without calling exit(1)
Hello,
I'm trying to make my Java application work with R, which involves
sending and retrieving data and to run R functions from within the
Java application. I also need to have "live interaction" with R, to

user to enter input when a function asks for it.
Therefore I created a simple R console in Java using JRI

trouble loading JGR on Debian
Dear developers
I am unable to (properly) load JGR on Debian testing. The JGR window
will pop out and R will start up, but it will not perform any of the
JGR specific library() calls (rJava, JavaGD, etc.) and will stuck at
100% CPU while the prompt will be non-responsive. The hack that helped
previously in such cases, accessing Help > About [1], works no more.

R with Java
Hey,
I?m a newbie in R and have a big problem. I hope, I?m in the right mailinglist, if not, sorry for this.
I want to use R in my Java application and I found out, it should work with JRI. But it doesn?t.
I installed it and in the lib-directory of R there is a folder named "JRI". But I have to tell Eclipse
that the JRI exist but I don?t know how. I read help-files and so on, but I don?t
