update_all Not Incrementing lock_version
Shouldn''t update_all be updating lock_version? As you can see from my console session below, it is upating the record (changed running attribute to true and returned 1 to show 1 recored was updated). But it did not increment lock_version. And optimistic locking is working correctly otherwise. As you can see below, lock version = 562 before and after the update_all call but it is

dataframe selection using a multi-value key
I am merging two dataframes using a relational key (incident number and incident year), but not all the records match up. I want to be able to review only the records that cannot be merged for each individual dataframe (essentially trying to select records from one dataframe using a multi-value relational key from the other dataframe). The following code shows what I am trying to do. The final

help with barplot
Hi, I'm really struggling with barplot I have a data.frame with 3 columns. The first column represents an "incident" type The second column represents a "month" The third column represents a "time" Code for a sample data.frame incidents <- rep(c('a','b','d','e'), each =25) months <- rep(c(1,2), each =10) times

Multiple rms summary plots in a single device
I would like to incorporate multiple summary plots from the rms package into a single device and to control the titles, and also to open a new device when I reach a specified number of plots. Currently I am only getting a single "plot(summary(" graph in the upper left- hand corner of each successive device. However, in the rms documention I see instances of a loop being used with

Bug in VGAM z value and coefficient ?
Dear, When i multiply the y of a regression by 10, I would expect that the coefficient would be multiply by 10 and the z value to stay constant. Here some reproducible code to support the case. *Ex 1* library(mvtnorm) library(VGAM) set.seed(1) x=rmvnorm(1000,sigma=matrix(c(1,0.75,0.75,1),2,2))

Whole genome searching of 100bp "D" sequence
Hi, I was wondering I'm going about this in the correct way. I need to test if there are coding sequences or exons in hg19 which match a string of 100bp "D" i.e. [A,G or T]. However I'm getting a strange result. I get a hit on chr7, using the 100bp search however when I search with 60bp sequence of "D" I don't get any hits. library("BSgenome")

converting character vector "hh:mm" to chron or strptime 24 clock time vectors
Hi All, I am attempting to work with some data from loggers. I have read in a .csv exported from MS Access that already has my dates and times (in 24 clock format), (with StringsAsFactors=FALSE). > head(tdata) LogData date time 1 77.16 2008/04/24 02:00 2 61.78 2008/04/24 04:00 3 75.44 2008/04/24 06:00 4 89.43 2008/04/24

How to show variables used in lm function call?
Hello R users, I am new to R and am wondering if anyone can help me out with the following issue: I wrote a function to build ts models using different inputs, but when R displays the call for a model, I cannot tell which variables it is using because it shows the arguments instead of the real variables passed to the function. (e.g Call: lm(formula = dyn(dep ~ lag(dep, -1) + indep)) --->

mboost vs gbm
I'm attempting to fit boosted regression trees to a censored response using IPCW weighting. I've implemented this through two libraries, mboost and gbm, which I believe should yield models that would perform comparably. This, however, is not the case - mboost performs much better. This seems odd. This issue is meaningful since the output of this regression needs to be implemented in a

[External] Encountered a crash, what is best way to tell if it has been fixed or now
I was able to put the crash through the gdb on the original VM that encountered the problem. (Not sure why the VM I initially tried to analyze the crash dump on didn’t do this correctly, but not concerned about it now). It’s providing additional details. Would this be considered a better example of the crash? I will go through the version comparisons and see if there are any updates since

Selecting a subgroup
I use the following function to select a subgroup from a data vector (usually to calculate descriptive stats). select.range<-function (groupvec, min, max, data) { if (nargs() > 3) { min.cond <- groupvec >= min max.cond <- groupvec < max cond <- min.cond & max.cond selected <- na.remove(ifelse(cond, data, NA))

[PATCH] nv50/ir: only use FILE_LOCAL_MEMORY for temp arrays that use indirection
Previously we were treating any indirect temp array usage to mean that everything should end up in lmem. The MemoryOpt pass would clean a lot of that up later, but in the meanwhile we would lose a lot of opportunity for optimization. This helps a lot of Metro 2033 Redux and a handful of KSP shaders: total instructions in shared programs : 6288373 -> 6261517 (-0.43%) total gprs used in shared

projecting GIS coordinates for analysis with spatstat package
I am working on creating an R package for doing fire department analysis and am trying to create a function that can display emergency incident densities. The following code sort of does the trick, but I need a display that shows the number of incidents per square mile. I believe the code below shows incidents per square unit (in this case, degrees lat/long). To solve this problem, I believe
