Reordering levels of a factor when the factor is part of a data frame
Hello R-users,    I have a data frame whose names of columns I don't know a priori, but the user of my code will know them. The user is supposed to save the name of the column that will need some reordering of the levels of the factor later on. The name of the column will be saved in an object called: variab the data frame is called df. If I try to the do following:

Monitor Current outgoing calls
Hello all! I'm currently using Asterisk in conjunction with a2billing and everything seems to be working great so far. Now, all I'm missing is some sort of a GUI to monitor all calls going out through my trunks. I can always do 'sip show channels' or 'sip debug' from the console but I was wondering if there's anything that basically does the same thing but in a nicer,

Hi All, new to the list. Wondering if anyone has / knows of, a good rate importer tool that can be used to standardize and normalize the ratesheets / rate decks etc. obtained from various carriers so they can be analysed and imported into a DB or be saved as a CSV or something? Thanks so much in advance aeg -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Hola.

Query on multivariate time series
Hi, Could anyone inform how to perform multi-variate auto regression using the past 't' values for regression in R. I have looked at ARMA provided by DES library and mvr provided by PLS library but could not match them to my requirements. Specifically, I want the following Say I have attributes a1-a4. and the regression equation is as follows: a4(t) =

Panic: file maildir-uidlist.c: line 1242 (maildir_uidlist_records_drop_expunges): assertion failed
Hi all, after inserting another sieve-rule, I get the following backtrace on deliver. The mail gets delivered into the Mailbox, but as deliver does not exit with 0, postfix bounces the mail. The additional rule is the same as all others in my .dovecot-sieve: > require ["fileinto", "include"]; > > if header :contains ["From"]

Minor glitch in optim()
Having worked with optim() and related programs for years, it surprised me that I haven't noticed this before, but optim() is inconsistent in how it deals with bounds constraints specified at infinity. Here's an example: # optim-glitch-Ex.R x0<-c(1,2,3,4) fnt <- function(x, fscale=10){ yy <- length(x):1 val <- sum((yy*x)^2)*fscale } grt <- function(x, fscale=10){ nn

Error using the mi package
I'm trying to impute data using the mi package, but after running through almost the entire first round of imputations (which takes quite a while), it throws this error (I'll include the whole output prior to the error for context). Does anyone know what is causing it, or how I can fix it? More specifically, how can I tell what is throwing the error so I know what to fix? Is

Friendly Reminder: Huge number of small files performance regression from 3.5.16 to 4.6.5 with identical smb.conf
Hello again, Jeremy and other Samba experts, I'm sorry to be such a pain in your neck(s), but I still need your help in looking for help trying to find out why SMB2/3.1.1 in Samba 4.6.5 performs so much worse than SMB/1.5 in Samba 3.6.15 in scenarios with a huge number of small files. As requested by Jeremy, I have done wireshark "pcapng" captures of the four scenarios as

how to handle irregularly spaced data as timeseries
I have a set of modeled climate data recorded at irregular intervals. The format of the data is such that there are monthly measurements for the years 2000, 2020, 2050, 2080, etc. Therefore I have 12 regular records, a skip of some number of years, then 12 more monthly records, another skip, and so on.... I created a dataframe from .txt with the read.table() command. For starters I need
