Was hoping someone could point me in the right direction for getting the linux version of cepstral voices working with Asterisk. The cepstral site states that the voices work with asterisk, but I haven't been able to find anything with google or in the handbook on this. Thanks in advance, Bruce

what's the easiest way of using cepstral voices with asterisk ? On their website, in the ssml page (http://www.cepstral.com/cgi-bin/support?page=ssml), they say "Asterisk PBX SSML can be used with Cepstral voices in Asterisk by simply embedding the markup into the input text." what input text ? I used the "Record(/home/lazkano/bienvenido:gsm)" function to record the menu voices, but when I call from outside or from an extension the voice listen so low. is there any software to record my voice properly and convert to gsm format? I did "rpm -qa | grep -y kernel > list" then edited the list to remove from it the newer kernels, then "yum remove `cat list`". Hi Folks, CentOS 5.5 x86_64 Asrock-Board with 2 USB3 plugs. Normally USB3-drive is detected. But occasionaly after "umount" next time this drive or other ones will not be detected. Hi Folks, fresh CentOS 5.5 x86_64. One USB-printer connected (HP Business Inkjet 1200) Printing from localhost:631 (Testpage) works. But no from any application. From OO only the message: printer-problem - no more. Second printer is from far (Cupsd) in the network. Works well. But what's about the local printer? Any hints? Thx Timothy
