Help request: highlighting R code on WordPress.com blogs
Hello dear R help members (and also Yihui and Romain),
There are currently 28 R bloggers (out of the 117
R-bloggers<http://www.r-bloggers.com/>I know of) that are using
wordpress.com for publishing their R code (and I suspect this number will
increase with time).
WordPress.com doesn't support R syntax highlighting, nor can it
be embedded from other services (like gist

R brush for SyntaxHighlighter
Hello,
I've written a brush for R for the SyntaxHighlighter JavaScript
library. It allows you to display R code on a web page with the proper
syntax highlighting. It's available here:

Problems with creating my own syntax highlighter
Well, I wanted to make my own syntax highlighter using Wx::StyledTextCtrl.
The easiest way to do it seemed to parse the text contents in a
content-changed-event. But it doesn''t seem to work..
I tried to edit the scintilla sample and added this event(@sci is the
StyledTextCtrl):
@sci.evt_stc_change(@sci.get_id) do
@sci.clear_document_style
@sci.start_styling(1,31)

Ruby Syntax Highlighter v2

The original release of my ruby syntax highlighter generated a fair bit of
interest, so I thought I''d let everyone know that I''ve updated it.
You can now save the code on the server, so you can show it to other people if
you''re a bit of an exhibitionist. If you do so, it generates a unique URL for
your code to pass around. It also uses my tinyurl/rubyurl

Pixarra Twisted Brush crush output help?
I'm trying to run Pixarra Twisted Brush OpenStudio on linux,
I have information that it successfully runs in Ubuntu, while I can't launch it in Arch.
After installation it gives me the following error:

Recommendation/pointers please - Need to brush up on CentOS/Linux command line tools
Hi all,
I would very much appreciate any suggestions on any online resources, or
even a decent book to purchase with the focus of brushing up on Linux
command line tools. The focus is on troubleshooting type commands,
adding users from command line

Last night, I wrote a web-based syntax highlighter that takes Ruby and
produces nice HTML of the code, ready for including on web pages, or in blog

Support for R in highlight.js

I'm the maintainer of a syntax highlighting tool highlight.js[1].
Recently the Kaggle project has announced they wanted to sponsor the
development of the R highlighting definition for it[2]. I wanted to drop
a line about it here since I suspect this list has much more R

R Code and the Pygments Python SyntaxHighlighter
Dear R Help,
is someone going to write a R/S language lexer for the Pygments Python syntax
highlighter <http://pygments.org/>? As it is used now by Trac, Django, or the
Python documentation tool Sphinx, the R community can apply it in Python-based
Wikis like Moinmoin and others.
