[LLVMdev] OT: intel darwin losing primary target status
This may be that the libgcc_s.dylib based unwinder is incompatible
with the darwin unwinder. You cannot mix and match the two. One of
the lines from the bugzilla comments shows:
/sw/lib/gcc4.5/lib/libgcc_s.1.dylib (compatibility version 1.0.0,
being used. That will not work. All of the libgcc_s.dylib
functionality has been subsumed into libSystem.dylib on SnowLeopard
(darwin10). The

[LLVMdev] OT: intel darwin losing primary target status
Nick,
How exactly do you envision this being done? Looking at the contents
of config/darwin.h, I see...
/* Support -mmacosx-version-min by supplying different (stub) libgcc_s.dylib
libraries to link against, and by not linking against libgcc_s on

Note that by default, -lgcc_eh is not linked against! This is
because in a future version of Darwin the EH frame

Civilization 4 OpenGL problem, Wine 1.3.31 on Mac OS Lion
Hello, all.
I have a two Mac mini 4.1 (mid 2010: Intel Core 2 Duo P8600, 4Gb RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 320M, Intel HDA)
One has Snowleopard 10.6.8 (32-bit) installed,
another - Lion 10.7.2 (64-bit).
I have installed Wine 1.3.31 from MacPorts repository on both of them
and attempts to run Civilization 4 Complete Edition.
I've made dll substitution specific for this game using winetrics

You can sync passwords between Samba AD and users in an external ldap,
but why would you ? A Samba AD domain can totally replace your 389-ds
and pgina setup.
As for pgina, I thought it was dead, which the original is (okay, it
hasn't had any updates for

WINE with 64-bit Support Build on Snow Leopard
Hello WINE Users:
I am trying to build WINE on Snow Leopard with 64-bit support enabled (actually for my particular purpose I need to build a version of WINE with both 32-bit and 64-bit libraries supported). I am using the 1.1.29 source version..
I have been following the guide for building on Mac and 64-bit WINE at:

[LLVMdev] OT: intel darwin losing primary target status
I realize this is off-topic for the list, but I thought
all the darwin developers here might want to be aware of
this. The current regressions in gcc trunk regarding
exception handling has been escalated to a P1 in order to
attract darwin developers to the issue...

If these regressions aren't fixed before gcc 4.5's release,

ACLs behaving differently on Samba 4 / Ubuntu 12.04 / Bind 9.81 between ZFS and EXT4 file systems
Dear all,
The system is Ubuntu 12.04 (latest beta as of yesterday)
Bind 9.81 (12.04 standard)
Samba 4, also git-cloned yesterday.
I've imported a zpool created on another ubuntu system with the same
version of zfs-linux (RC-8) http://zfsonlinux.org/
The zpool is working perfectly well; responsive, no errors reported,
scrubbed.
Samba can see the zpool as part of the greater file system and

[LLVMdev] OT: intel darwin losing primary target status
Jack,
I think there is an extra dimension to darwin that might be confusing
things. Darwin uses two-level-name-space. That means that at build
time the linker records where it found each dylib (SO) symbol. (It
records the path the dylib supplied as its "install name" - not just
the leafname as SO_NEEDED does.)
On a SnowLeopard system you *can* link against /usr/lib/libgcc_s.

R, Rcmdr crash on WinXP PRO laptop (PR#8583)
Having the same behaviour with 2.2.1 and 2.2.1 patched, even if R Cmdr
is not loaded. It does not appear to be strictly a data import problem.
For me the issue appears when trying to open any scripts, although not
always. For example, last week it occurred only a couple of times (had R
running more or less 24/7), yesterday at least 10 times. The computer is

t-test
I have downloaded the latest version of R and continue to have the same problem I did with the previuos version which is that I am unable to run a two-sample t-test in R-commander. I can run a paired t-test and a one sample t-test but not a two-sample t-test or one factor ANOVA. The data have been both imported and entered directly into R-cmdr and I can run regressions and basic data summaries on

I am using R 1.9.1 with R Commander GUI under Windows at work, and under Linux Mandrake 10 OR at home. I am having no problems running R Commander under windows. Under Linux, though, the opening and sometimes closing of windows from R Commander produces identical and repetitive error messages (in dialogue boxes and mirrored in the console):

How to configuring 389ds to the backed user authentication on Samba-ad
Hi,
I hope this is the correct forum to ask this question. I am looking for some guidance on whether Samba-ad can be (or should be) configured using ldap (389-ds) as the back end for user authentication in a production environment.
I have come across a few forums and went through you?re documentation pages but the information isn?t clear so thought to ask the question directly to the

problem with fix() called from Rcmdr
Dear list members,
I and my students have encountered an intermittent problem using the Rcmdr
package (version 0.9-0) under Windows (with the SDI). The problem occurs
both in versions 1.7.1 and 1.8.0 of R.
The problem seems to occur only in the following context: The "Edit data
set" button is pressed in the Rcmdr GUI. This executes the fix() function
on the active data frame,
