[LLVMdev] Post Increment Indirect Move Instructions
Hi Hal,
Our Architecture has indirect move instruction which increments the
pointer implicitly and the target only has i8 type values. So the load
of i16 will be converted to two i8 target loads wherein after the first
load instruction, the pointer to the first i8 address will automatically
increment to point to the next i8 value. So the post increment nature is
in the Target. A normal

Chi Square Test on two groups of variables
Dear R help
I have been trying to conduct a chi square test on two groups of variables

drop1, 2-way Unbalanced ANOVA
Hi all,
I've spent quite a lot of time searching through the help lists and reading
about how best to run perform a 2-way ANOVA with unbalanced data. I realize
this has been covered a great deal so I was trying to avoid adding yet
another entry to the long list considering the use of different SS, etc.
Unfortunately, I have come to the point where I feel I have to wade in and
see if someone

Build failure for isohybrid
Dear list,
I have been trying to debug a build failure for a while in the utils
directory on isohybrid which seems to be distro specific.
On Fedora 17 64bit the build completes without problems, but under both
Ubuntu 32/64bit 11.10 and 12.04 I get the following:
tim at oxygen:/usr/src/git/syslinux/utils$ make
gcc -O2 -luuid -o isohybrid isohybrid.o isohdpfx.o

Comparing Von Bertalanffy Growth Curves
I am trying to compare Vbert growth curves from several years of fish data. I am following the code provided by: http://www.ncfaculty.net/dogle/fishR/gnrlex/VonBertalanffy/VonBertalanffy.pdf. Specifically the section on VBGM Comparisons between groups.
?
This code is pretty cut and dry. I am able to run it perfectly with the "fake" data that is provided. But when I run it with my own

Applying function with separate dataframe (calibration file) supplying some inputs
Hello,
I am not entirely sure the subject line captures what I am trying to do, but
hopefully this description of the problem will help folks to see my
challenge and hopefully offer constructive assistance.
I have an experimental setup where I measure the decrease in oxygen in small
vials as an organism, such as an oyster, consumes the oxygen. Each vial is
calibrated before the experiment and

Problem with FreeSwan and Shorewall on a LEAF(Oxygen) based router.
Hello,
I seem to have the Freeswan IPSEC tunnel working between my two sites,
but I am still having a problem that looks to be because of something I have
configured wrong in my shorewall setup..
I have a LEAF Oxygen < 1.9 heavily modifed firewall setup.. Using
FreeSwan 1.91, and Kernel 2.4.8. Modified to use IPTables and
standard Debian network/interfaces. I am also using Shorewall

Differencing data by groups
Colleagues,
I am analyzing data collected during oceanographic cruises. We have
conducted many cruises over the last decade. On each cruise we visit ~50
stations. At each station (termed EventNum)we lower an instrument that
measures depth, temperature, salinity and oxygen every few seconds as it is
lowered through the water. Data from all EventNums on all cruises are
stacked, generating a data

OT: question on setting up an email server
Hi guys,
I realize that this might be considered to be off topic, but the
machine I want to use is running Cent OS.
Ok, this is what I'm thinking about trying, and mainly just to see
if I can do it. I've got a total of 3 linux machines here, and I was
thinking about setting one of them up as an email server. Now, I'm not
talking about setting the machine up so that all I

HELP...Running data
We are two french students and we have a problem concerning an exercize.
We don't know how to resolve it.
It would be fantastic if someone can help us.
Thanks.
Description:
This study examined how the metabolic cost of locomotion varied
with speed, stride frequency and body mass. Cost was determined
by measuring oxygen consumption (?vo2?), analyzing the oxygen
content in air inhaled and

T-1 vs channelised T-1?
OK. Now I show my ignorance.
What's the difference between a T-1 and a channelised T-1? I see that
Covad's voip service (formerly GoBeam) requires a channelised T-1. Then
I read recently on the list that many T-1s being installed are actually
HDSL....which would be not a T-1 at all...right?

Crossed random effects in lme
Dear all,
I am trying to fit a model with crossed random effects using lme. In this
experiment, I have been measuring oxygen consumption (mlmin) in bird
nestlings, originating from three different treatments (treat), in a
respirometer with 7 different channels (ch). I have also measured body mass
(mass) for these birds.
