replacing missing values in a dataframe with reference values.
Any thoughts on the following I'd be most grateful - I'm sure there is an easy and quick way to do this but I'm having a mental block this evening. Essentially, I'm trying to replace missing data in my dataset with reference values based on age and sex. So an example dataset is set.seed(1) X = data.frame(age=rnorm(10, 50, 10), sex=rbinom(10, 1, 0.5), A=rnorm(10), B=rnorm(10))

I would like to pull the table entry with field vname=rawr, and then take this entry''s field vpic, and use that vpic (assume its a url to an image) to display an image. To begin with, I am having problems with displaying an image with

GP10B regression
Bisection status report: The latest commit I have gotten to work is 10842ba074e9 drm/nouveau: remove unused nouveau_fence_work() i.e. the first bad commit is d7722134b825 drm/nouveau: switch over to new memory and vmm interfaces Even with the first one some patches/hacks are needed: - in mmu/gp10b.c, in the constructor we need to select the GM200 path - the GP100 path seems to not to work

Has anyone experience with rsync out of memory
Hello, we are using rsync on AIX and run into out of memory. There have been some threads about out of memory and FAX tells that this is a known problem. So I need to finde a workaround for this. Please help me! We try to sync many (nnnn) Thumbnails of size 2k between AIX and Linux with rsync -a --delete --rsh=ssh <source dir> <user>@<server>:<target dir> I

GP10B regression
Hello everyone, it seems that GP10B support has regressed recently. With linux-next, I need to modify device/base.c to set .mmu = gp10b_mmu_new for GP10B (makes sense - I guess this was left as gf100_mmu_new as a typo) to probe. After that, running a trivial testcase (running a NOP method in 3D class) fails with [ 110.084649] nouveau 17000000.gpu: fifo: read fault at 0000011000 engine 06

clustering problem
First I just want to say thanks for all the help I've had from the list so far..) I now have what I think is a clustering problem. I have lots of objects which I have measured a dissimilarity between. Now, this list only has one entry per pair, so it is not symmetrical. Example input: NameA NameB Dist 189_1C2 189_1C1 0 189_1C3 189_1C1 0.017 189_1C3 189_1C2 0.017 189_1C4 189_1C1 0

Frequency tables.
Hi All, I'm a SAS user but I'm very much interested in learning R. I use ODS system in SAS to make nice frequency tables. Is it possible to export the output of table() [in TABULAR FORM]? So, that I can use those directly for publications? Thank you. # R Code: library(datasets) Orange summary(Orange) # outputing this, not as it is, but in table for. is it possible? ~Kim [[alternative
