Help in kmeans
Hi All,
I was using the following command for performing kmeans for Iris dataset.
Kmeans_model<-kmeans(dataFrame[,c(1,2,3,4)],centers=3)
This was giving proper results for me. But, in my application we generate
the R commands dynamically and there was a requirement that the column names
will be sent instead of column indices to the R commands.Hence, to
incorporate this, i tried using the R

TukeyHSD fails on my data
Howdo folks,
So I have my data (attached). There are two columns I'm interested in;
"algname" and "dur". I'd like to know how dur changes with algname.
algname is nominal and there are 7 possibilities. There are two more
nominal independents, "task" and "id", so my model is:
dur ~ algname+task+id
From the research I've done, a TukeyHSD

RWeka problem: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError
Hi,
I'm trying to use RWeka and followed the following example from the
RWeka manual.
============
## Use some example data.
w <- read.arff(system.file("arff","weather.nominal.arff",
package = "RWeka"))
## Identify a decision tree.
m <- J48(play~., data = w)

## Use 10 fold cross-validation.
e <- evaluate_Weka_classifier(m,
cost = matrix(c(0,2,1,0),

3d cloud plot with point size reflecting variable value
Hello all,
I'm using the cloud function to plot the iris data as per the document:
http://www.stat.ucl.ac.be/ISpersonnel/lecoutre/stats/fichiers/_gallery.pdf
I'd like to change the point size to reflect a fourth variable, as done here

Does anybody know how to do this? There doesn't seem to be an option in
