R interpreter in Java/R plugin or RCP for Eclipse
I've been enjoying R a lot and want to say thanks to all R developers for a fantastic stat environment. I also am a fan of the Eclipse computing environment, which I've been using for Java/C(++)/Python. I was researching for an Eclipse plugin for R and found StatET (http://www.walware.de/goto/statet). That's when I thought about writing another Eclipse plugin with tighter integration

Eclipse (Java) locking issues after upgrade (3.6.23 -> 4.4.3)
Hello Jeremy, Sorry for the long delay for responding to your request (just came back to the office after long Victoria day weekend). I'm not sure if it's Ok to send such large attachements to the list. So here's a Dropbox public link to download it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/o2617jtqfbwlyhc/eclipse-java-samba-level10.log.gz?dl=0 All our connections to this share are not all

Eclipse (Java) locking issues after upgrade (3.6.23 -> 4.4.3)
Hello Jeremy, Could you send me some references to the ‘cross-protocol issue’ (Bugzilla, documentation, etc)? I’ll disable the ‘kernel oplocks’ and see what happens. We’re getting all sorts of weirdness from our Mac SMB clients since we upgraded to Samba v4.4.3. In particular, when we open a session with an OSX (Yosemite) client with SMB autommount directories, we see multiple SMBD processes

Hello, We seem to not be able to use Eclipse with a network drive since we upgraded our Samba server to version 4.4.3. Here's the error we get: mac-mini:MacOS user$ ./eclipse java.lang.RuntimeException: Error initializing storage. at org.eclipse.osgi.internal.framework.EquinoxContainer.<init>(EquinoxContainer.java:68) at

Eclipse 3.2.1-19 package on Centos 5.2
Hi, I'm using Centos 5.2 and trying to use Eclipse's embedded browser without success. Could this be due to any of the patches that were commented out in 3.2.1-18? When trying to use the embedded browser, I get the error: No more handles (java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no swt-mozilla-gtk-3235 in java.library.path). I have a gre.conf, have set MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME, and LD_LIBRARY_PATH,

Calling R function from Java
Hi - I would like to have the same functionality like what R(D)COM server offers but from Java world. I have java code (on windows) and need to call some R code to run some computational job and get the result back into java code. I'm wondering if there's any direct package that offers this functionality? Thank you. - adschai

Patch proposition to implement a new workaround: tb-lsub-flags
Hi again Timo, As agreed earlier tonight, you'll find as attachments 4 diffs (diff -u) implementing the new workaround "tb-lsub-flags". The 4 impacted files are: ./src/imap/imap-settings.h ./src/imap/imap-settings.c ./src/imap/cmd-list.c ./src/config/all-settings.c Here is the proposed description for the dovecot.conf file: # tb-lsub-flags: # Usually IMAP servers don't

eclipse now crashing on CentOS 5.10
Got a user screaming... his 5.10 workstation, first time since the upgrade java-openjdk 1.7.0.51-2.4.4.2 Anyone else seeing that? I logged onto his machine, and I don't use eclipse, at all, so there shouldn't be a lot of crap in my .eclipse, and it shows the splash window, then tells me it's crashed in another pop-up, and it's gone. The error log it tells me about says, in its

[LLVMdev] LLVM + Eclipse?
So, suppose I wanted to create an Eclipse plugin that could read an LLVM bitcode file. What would be the best way to bridge between the Java and C++ worlds? I thought about calling llvm-dis as a subprocess and then parsing the output, but that seems fragile to me. I'd rather deal with the API level if possible. -- -- Talin -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

Jpackage tomcat55-common-lib requires eclipse-ecj >= 0:3.1.1
