Hi, I would like to have lineplot.CI and barplot.CI to actually plot confidence intervals , instead of standard error. I understand I have to use the ci.fun option, but I'm not quite sure how. Like this : > qt(0.975,df=n-1)*s/sqrt(n) but how can I apply it to visualize the length of the student's T confidence intervals rather than the stdandard error of the plotted means

What I wonder is the handling and feel with respect to R. Has anyone here installed or is running R on one of these, and if so, what is your experience? I have an ASUS eePC with the default linux installation (Xandros I believe). I would like to install wine to run a custom application. However, I can not figure out which version of wine to download. Will any of them work? If not which one should I use? Thanks for any and all help.

I am running R 2.7.1 on an eeepc with the standard Xandros Linux. I install/upgrade R binaries using synaptic from the http://cran.r-project.org/bin/linux/debian/etch-cran/ repository.
