Getting the commit message from Phabricator
I'm not sure if this is well known, but it helped me so I thought I'd share
it with you.
When committing to gitmonorepo, (with git llvm push) you need to have
committed to your local repo first and so you need to have crafted your
commit message from your the Phabricator revision. (e.g. D12345)
Phabricator has the ability to give you this commit message it would have
used, even if you do

Using RODBC to use SQL queries
Hello,
I am new to the RODBC package, but I have looked over the PDF as well as a few websites that go over the SQL language. I can connect to my database fine using
>channel<-odbcConnect("Oracle ODBC")
# then am prompted to enter my user id and password
After that I'd like to use the odbcQuery function and the SQL statement:
SELECT * FROM table_name WHERE SAMPLE_YEA LIKE

Windows package development: bad html links to functions in non-standard packages
I am using R 2.0.1 Patched on Windows 2000.
I have created a binary package for Windows that builds, checks,
installs and works without errors. In some of my .Rd files, I
have links to functions in the standard packages supplied with R
as well as links to others in add-on packages that I have installed.
For instance, one .Rd file has the following snippet:

Hello,
I created a table in MySQL with this command

id VARCHAR(30),col1 VARCHAR(30),col2 VARCHAR(30))
### In R, I can connect to this table:

first <- sqlQuery(chan, "select * from example")

RODBC working in Rgui but not Rterm
Hello Users:
I'm using R version 2.0.1, and having problems with RODBC. Everything
works fine when I use Rgui, but when I try to use Rterm and issue the
commands
library(RODBC)
con <- odbcConnect("MySQL", "test")
I get the following error:
Error in sqlQuery(con, str) : first argument is not an open RODBC channel

RODBC for importing dbf
Hi
I know that it is very easy to import data from a dbf file to R, by
saving the data as csv, for instance.
However, I have several hundreds of files to do that. So, I thought of
using RODBC to read the dbf files and save it as data.frame. However, I
cannot even start (this is my first time using such package):

RODBC connection failed
I am trying to restart on R after 2 months stop. Start with previously
functioning procedure:
"ch<-odbcConnect("dBase Files")"
get
"Warning message:
ODBC connection failed in: odbcConnect("dBase Files") "
I have tried unsuccessfully different working directories.
The only change I see is that I am working with a new login account on
the same machine.

Help with RODBC connection to multiple MS SQL Sever databases
I'm trying to pull data from multiple MS SQL Sever databse in R. I can access the databases one at a time, but the tables are to large to pull the entire tables then join then in R. So I need to do a SQL join that will join the tables from the each of the databases. How do I combine the connection so that I can implement it in my sql query below. Wonky Firefox 68.0.1esr upgrade
I just applied a bunch of updates to my CentOS 7 system yesterday, one
of which was a Firefox update to 68.0.1esr.
Now when I bring up sites I would log in to -- my bank, credit cards,
etc., the Password box is wonky and shakes and doesn't display
successive dots? for characters I type, nor does it accept what I type.
My work around currently is to type the password first, then my userid

Recommendations for image malware detection?
Hello all --
This is not a CentOS specific question, but I have a feeling some of you
are involved in enterprise malware efforts, so here goes.
Does anyone have recommendations for malware detection that includes
detection in image files? I'm looking for something that could be
integrated into a batch cron process as opposed to a client end download
check.
Thanks.
