sub and gsub treat \\ incorrectly (PR#13454)
Sub and gsub treat \\ replacement pattern incorrectly I expect sub("a","\\", "a", perl=T) to produce [1] "\" instead it generates [1] "" On the other hand, if I run sub("a","\\\\", "a", perl=T) it correctly outputs [1] "\\" The same issue applies to gsub. --please do not edit the information

field_with_errors not showing
My views won''t wrap a field with the <div> tag when validations return errors. I can generate a list of the items, but it''s not wrapping the fields. I know you can manipulate how ActionView does a field with errors, but I have not changed it. Does anyone know the reason for this? I''ve asked several times on IRC and no one seems to know. switchtype QSIG and Asterisk implementation
Hi, Is Asterisk "fully QSIG-compliant"? I currently have an Alcatel 4400 connected to Asterisk 1.2 and 1.4. Zaptel versions are 1.2.26 and 1.4.11. I am using switchtype=euroisdn and all works fine. However, it seems that Alcatel's latest firmware has dropped support for euroisdn which is really despicable. So now I need to see if I can migrate to QSIG which is supported by

Indexing Mail faster
Hi, I am trying to get faster search results on our webmail client(Roundcube). Besides using Lucene for FTS are there other options? Would having all mails indexed give fast results? Currently the time it takes to search 25,000mails is 4mins. If indexed how much faster are we looking at? Really appreciate if someone could advise about this. Thanks Kevin

Plotmath on Fedora 31 broken with with pango >= 1.44 - workarounds?
Paul et al, I will try to do this tonight or tomorrow, though it will not be built with th system tools because I have yet to get that tto work locally (spent a good chunk of this morning trying). I will send a separate messaage regarding those difficulties as well so that we can at least confirm that they are due to a malconfiguration on my part. Best, ~G On Tue, Apr 7, 2020 at 7:25 PM Paul

Does "sink" stand for anything?
Hello Everyone,   Learning about R and its wonderful array of functions. If it's not obvious, I usually try to find out what a function stands for. I think this helps me remember better.   One function that has me stumped is "sink." Can anyone tell me if this stands for something?   Thanks,   Paul         __________________________________________________ [[alternative HTML
