[Samba] Strange behaviour on Ubuntu 14.10 vs SAMBA 4.1.17/4.2.0
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all, I'm using a compiled SAMBA 4.1.17, but I've also tested it with SAMBA 4.2.0. CIFS server is running Ubuntu 14.04LTS. When I'm using a mount (with cifs-utils) on a client which runs Ubuntu 14.10 a simple "cp" of, for example a text file, results in the content of the file, including A LOT OF (infinite) zero's at the end of this copied file. Actually, the "cp"-command doesn't end, it keeps on adding "0"'s at the end of the file until you CTRL+BREAK the copy. This only happens if I copy *from* the CIFS share to the local filesystem. - From an Ubuntu 14.04LTS and a Linux Mint client everything is working fine. Does anyone here have experienced the same with Ubuntu 14.10?
