samba - Oct 2014 - cannot compile samba4 git or from src version samba-4.1.12

I'm trying to compile samba4 on a raspberry pi

It fails with this error:

I tried git (last commit: 470af881479d1a1588dc23ef40622b4d8f006b61)
and src of version 4.1.12

Any ideas?

This appears to be related to compiling "man"
I tried a past version 4.1.0 and it still happens
How do you compile samba without the man pages?
