[Samba] Loading samba config from ldap instead of smb.conf
Hello, I notice that the samba ldap schema has the object classes "sambaConfig" and "sambaConfigOption" is there some way to load the entire "smb.conf" from the ldap directory. Or is this a feature that will be implemented in the future? Is there a patch that would allow this? If so can someone explain how to apply this(Im not a coder) ;-) Im running debian unstable with samba 3.0.14a as a PDC and an openldap backend. Kind Regards, Rhys (New Zealand)

The schema items you mention are from an experiemental implementation in trunk but was really just a first pass at it. cheers, jerry ====================================================================Alleviating the pain of Windows(tm) ------- http://www.samba.org GnuPG Key ----- http://www.plainjoe.org/gpg_public.asc "I never saved anything for the swim back."
