We have an application provided by a local vendor that uses the volume label of the drive for "security". (their words) Anyway in 2.2.x shares, WinXP always showed the volume label of the mapped drive as 3 or 4 consecutive graphical boxes, which is to say bizarre. The setting of the "volume" parameter made no difference. On 3.0.4 it simply has gone away. WinXP shows the default label as the share name and can be changed with the "volume" parameter. I only point this out because out users had to remain at Win2K while using this product. They've been since moved to XP. Thanks a bunch!!! Bill
