I recently installed Samba 2.2.8a on a RedHat8.0 machine. When I type 'smbstatus' , this is the message I get: Samba version 2.2.8a Service uid gid pid machine ---------------------------------------------- No locked files Does this message mean that something is missing or has not been configured correctly? Thanks, -Nadia nparkar@umich.edu
