-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello, List! I would like to know the status or how to use custom printer forms within Samba. We have several trays for an HP LaserJet 4050 which are all letter size, but different papers (letterhead, plain, etc). The easiest way for my users to not print to the wrong type of paper is if we set a custom form to a tray (such as a form named "Letterhead" for the letterhead, "Letter" for plain, etc). I understand (maybe wrongly) that paper form support is in Samba, but when I use rpcclient to work with them, nothing works--I am returned the following: rpcclient $> enumforms L201-Lab rpc_api_pipe: cmd 26 on pipe 70ed failed to return data. result was NT_STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL I also tried to work with the forms via the "Server Properties" of my print server via Network Neighborhood (or My Network Places), and I was still unsuccessful (no surprise there to me :). However, if I do this against my NT 4.0 Server, I get a full listing of all the forms. I am using Red Hat Linux 7.1 with Samba 2.2.5 with a mixture of Win2k and WinNT 4.0 boxes. I'm looking for any documentation or insight which could help me out with this quest. My searches of the archives and the web have resulted in little about this issue. Any help is greatly appreciated! ____________________________________ Peter D.
