Hi, Samba friends, Sorry for that if it was posted already in mailing list. Here are some steps to produce the case in samba 2.2.2. 1.Create Share with 'Oplocks' enabled 2.Create a new Word file and edit it, save, close. 3.You will fail to re-open that file, and get a 'Microft Word' error message. Repeat these 3 steps, but disable 'Oplocks' in step 1, you can re-open that file successfully in step 3. But there are no problems from samba 2.2.3(2.2.3a) when using the same procedure.
