smbd, whilst up-to-date with cvs main, is slightly broken - locking is
under development. recommend "posix locking = no" and "stat
cache = no",
and don't use it with other remote fileserver systems (e.g nfs) to
simultaneously access the same filesystem, if you expect locking to work
('cos it won't).
please let me know if this version works for you (i fixed nt pwd changing,
for example).
if so, i will go to the next version-number (2.6).
