HI all I''m new on ruby on rails I''m trying to setup the environment on my windows XP box to run ruby in rails I just followed a receipe I found on http://wiki.rubyonrails.org/rails/pages/Fast+CGI+and+Apache2+for+Windows+XP and http://www.aaronblondeau.com/cms/content/view/24/27/ I got this error message when I try to start my apache server Syntax error on line 115 of C:/Program Files/Apache Group/Apache2/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load C:/Program Files/Apache Group/Apache2/modules/mod_fastcgi.so into server: The specified module could not be found. I know the file is there, there is no typo on my httpd.conf file any ideas? Thanks a lot... -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group. Just a shot in the dark, the two tutorials you link to instruct you to edit httpd.conf to use "LoadModule fastcgi_module modules/mod_fastcgi.dll" but your error seems to be looking for a .so file, not .dll. Maybe that has nothing to do with it, or you''ve already included the correct line in httpd.conf. I''ve not yet deployed with Apache yet and I do all of my development on Ubuntu Linux, so I don''t know if I can help beyond the suggestion above. Good luck, John-Scott P.S. I had to roll back the RoR wiki page you linked to...it had already been spammed a few times between the time of your post and when I looked at it! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group.
