R help - Jan 2012 - Extract concordance from coxph.object

Dear all,

As I said in my previous email I have just upgraded to R 2.14.0 on Windows 7.  I
have just run the 'coxph' function and notice that a Concordance
statistic is produced.  Is there any way to extract this information from the
output?

E.g. can I call the concordance value independently of calling the output?

If you have a look at
str(coxmodel)
(assuming coxmodel holds the object)

then you'll see that there's a "concordance" member.

You can use
coxmodel$concordance
to get it.
