Dear group, apologies if this is a stupid question. I searched CRAN sites. I am afraid I missed it. Can any one help me if I can update my windows version of 1.9.1 to 2 or higer. thanks srini
1. Download and install the new version in the usual way. You do not need to remove the old version. Both can co-exist. 2. If you have *.site files copy them over to the corresponding locations in the new R version. 3. Re-download any packages you want from CRAN from within the new R.
