R help - Mar 1999 - Building R under gnumake 3.75, Solaris 2.6

./configure works fine.  make generates the error

Clearly the error is generated by /usr/include/sys/model.h

Any insight on what we need to do would be welcome.

I suspect the fundamental problem is here. Using gcc-libraries from one
version of Solaris and system includes from another one. I don't think
R factors into this at all.
