[Pkg-xen-devel] Upcoming stable point release (10.4)

That was a disappointment, but this is of course my own fault, because I messed up different dates for different things in my head. So, my question is: I see that you're bcc-ing the kernel team with the point release reminder announcements. Can you include Xen team with this, so that we get a reminder at the right moment to start preparing an upload at that time? I suspect xen at packages.debian.org works to end up at whatever place our team mailing list is at any time (testing with a Cc in this one). The other thing that is just too obvious, but what I realized very recently, is that it is helpful for our users to push out linux kernel and xen updates at the same time. It's all about reducing security-stress and reboot moments (and induced maintenance) for users. This means that whenever kernel team is doing a security update, or when they do their stable kernel release update for a point release, we (Xen) should just also do an update with whatever is in the upstream stable Xen branch that we follow for Debian stable. A few minutes ago I mentioned this in #debian-kernel, I think it would be nice to find out a way to have some FYI communication happening regarding this. ---- >8 ---- So, there's a lot of FYI in here, and the only actual question for you is to also get a push-reminder about an upcoming point release. ---- >8 ---- We have a little fix [0] that removes a bug when upgrading to a new Xen version (that will be 4.11 to e.g. 4.13 which we're preparing for experimental->unstable). I will just proceed and prepare the 4.11 upload for unstable and 4.13 for experimental, and the buster situation is a bit on hold now. What I know for sure is that I want to have it in 10.5 :-) Thanks!
