[Dovecot] Inquiring about status of version 1.x
Hi, I've been running dovecot for awhile (about 18 months now) and I am very happy with it. I am currently planning an upgrade for the office server and I am wondering how is 1.0 going? Is it stable enough for production? I read a thread in the list from may 5th talking about the stability, and it seemed pretty decent. Anyways just looking for a bit of feedback on the evolution of 1.0 Thanks, Jean-Daniel
Hi, I find the stable branch is certainly production level, the testing branch is pretty close too. We use test69 on 2 round-robin servers serving thousands of customers with IMAP and POP (around 5500 usernames/passwords to date). No major problems at all. Timo and the guys are pretty quick at fixing any problem with it.
