asterisk users - Apr 2012 - upgrading from asterisk 1.4 to 1.6

Hi
 I have installed asterisk 1.4 and asterisk-gui 2.0, the problem is that it
cannot upload the .gsm which i record through "voice menu prompt", it
gives
error uploading is supported in asterisk 1.6 or higher.
Can anyone help me?
