[asterisk-users] SIP Registrations broken on 1.4.22.1?
Hi, I had a Trixbox 1.4.18 that I "yum update"d to 1.4.22.1. Now, I seem to have a huge problem with phones not staying registered (registrations worked perfectly at 1.4.18). I phone will register the first time I plug it in, and then once you make a call and hangup (or sometimes even during the call) all the lights will go orange meaning a lost registration. Every so often the lights will go green for a second and then go back orange. Has anyone experienced this? It seems like there's something weird going on at 1.4.22.1. (Trixbox forums have been no help as of yet). Thanks.

Do you have register=yes in your sip.conf? Without this, the phone only registers on power on/reboot. This setup works well on my * [104] type=peer context=phones host=dynamic fromuser=104 secret=xxxxxx canreinvite=yes directrtpsetup=no call-limit=3 nat=yes qualify=yes register=no session-timers=accept session-expires=60 session-minse=120 session-refresher=uac register => 104:xxxxx at yyyyyy.com/104 defaultip=192.168.23.114 mailbox=104 -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces at lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces at lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of James Lamanna Sent: Wednesday, January 28, 2009 1:01 PM To: asterisk-users at lists.digium.com Subject: [asterisk-users] SIP Registrations broken on 1.4.22.1? Funny you should mention that. I`ve been in 1.4.23 for a few days, and I`ve noticed my Polycom phone losing one registration once in a while (I have a desk bound job, so I would have noticed if it happened regularly before; it didn't). The Asterisk CLI does not mention anything about this (including "registration_abc unreachable"), surprisingly since I have qualify=yes for these registrations.
