[asterisk-users] Where I will get astersik.spec and zaptel.spec
Hi, In response to the question that I posted some time back I got a very useful reply.... QUESTION> I have successfully configured DIGIUM card and successfullycommunicated> through it to the another E1 card running application. Can anybody tell me > does TE120P support MFC/R2 protocol.REPLY As far as I know the card is not the issue. But you need to install additional software. Basically you need spandsp, libunicall, libmfcr2, libsupertone and chan_unicall from http://www.soft-switch.org If you use RHEL or CentOS then you can find a set of Asterisk 1.2 SRPMs that support this already at: http://www.laimbock.com/dl/asterisk/ You will need to rebuild the SRPMs with the options enabled that you require. Have a look in zaptel.spec and asterisk.spec. Regards, Patrick (remove -list from my email address if you want to reply privately) Thanks for the help that I got from patrick. I need one favour that can anybody tell me, where, I will get zaptel.spec and asterisk.spec file. Is it inside asterisk tar file or on some link. ( as I could not get in asterisk-1.2.19 tar file) Thanks and Regards, sanchal

( as I could not get in asterisk-1.2.19 tar > file)The zaptel.spec is part of the zaptel SRPM. The asterisk.spec file is part of the asterisk SRPM. Get both files and install them with: $ rpm -ivh zaptel-1.2.19-34.2831.el5.lc.src.rpm $ rpm -ivh asterisk-1.2.24-43.79171.el5.lc.src.rpm You can now find zaptel.spec and asterisk.spec in the redhat/SPECS directory. Or in a terminal you can start mc in the directory where you downloaded these SRPMs, navigate to highlight for example the zaptel SRPM and press enter, navigate to highlight CONTENTS.cpio and press enter again. You now get an overview of all the files in the zaptel SRPM including zaptel.spec. Regards, Patrick
