[Nut-upsuser] CyberPower CP625HGa shuts down 3 watt load in 2 minutes
Greeting Roger; And the battery is still at 98%. The load is a 5 watt supply running an r-pi-4 with a mesa 7i90 interface card. How can one change that, it ought to run that 3 watt load for hours. [Nut-upsuser] [EXTERNAL] CyberPower CP625HGa shuts down 3 watt load in 2 minutes
When I want to run a UPS down while I'm testing, I plug in a high-wattage lamp on a spare outlet. Whats wrong? The first thought is for the battery. How old is it? Really ancient batteries behave as you describe. If it's not the battery then we need to look at the configuration. Do you use the default behaviour of upsmon which is to shutdown on status LB? What does command ? upsc <ups> battery.charge.low ? report? Roger

It reports a voltage high enough to make a voltmeter believe it is charged but in fact it does not hold the charge.
